He's the one they let into the studio to ink Punisher's stories i.e. Action, Blood, and Violence Man?

Even fucking Electra is just another version of Frank. Also hate when they draw most of the teeth with this amount of realism. Like Frank-1 is fine but the soldier to directly above him looks like a fucking LD.
>>
He's phoned in some of his recent work but he's better than most current mainstream artists when you look at his body of work.

Igor Kordey
Who let this guy put art in a book?

And the fucked up thing is his art came after Frank Quitelys on new x-men. Brutal step down.

He was a rushed fill in artist and even he hates his work on X-Men. He's actually very talented

Guess the aeons of fucking time it takes Quitely to pencil a book struck again.

Though i dont care cos i love Quitelys art

He was doing issues in a week

>At same time Mr. Tischman, the writer, started to be involved in writing for some TV serial and being late with scripts. I started to ask for new jobs, to fill bigger and bigger gaps. So came Black Widow, and bit later, an offer to fill in for New X-Men. Issue #120 was first, and after I did it in ten days – pencils and inks, editors were so happy, that they offered me #119 to do – the other guys were still late with their part.

> NRAMA: In those days where you had what many artists would see as an overloaded plate, what was your timetable to complete a full issue?

>Kordey: A week. The Shi-ar arc looks really horrible, but I still like my Fantomex arc – it’s strong, man! Actually, I received a lot of support and appreciation for that arc from numerous fans from Europe, who were ecstatic about such grittiness and expressiveness in X-Men world.

>NRAMA: That said though, did you ever turn in an issue where you felt it wasn’t up to your normal standards for quality?

>Kordey: …from today’s point of view, many of those books are bellow my standards of quality…that’s the fact. I got lost in delusions that this expressiveness is the right way to do it, and nobody stopped me. I received a very polite call from my X-Men editor about necessity to become slick, but at that time I didn’t have a clue what the heck is that suppose to mean, and nobody complained too much as long as books were coming on time.
>>
>>81322418
>I think, that’s the crucial moment – nobody said “Hey, stop! Wait a second! Put yourself together! Let’s work it out together; this, this and that is wrong! Try again and take it slow…” I was my only judge, jury and executioner all the time. In the publishing industry editors are skippers, they navigating the writer through all storms, whirlpools, and quicksand of novel writing. Those are people with vision, and for most comic editors you can not give such attribute…

For it's time it did look pretty good for one artist. It just didn't belong in a comic book.
>>
Any artist who uses 3dposer and then traces over them super blatantly. It always looks so weird and I cant get over it.

I tried reading Grayson once and gave up because the art bothered me too much. It wasn't "technically" bad, but it bothered the shit out of me.

Korean webcomics are obnoxiously bad about this sometimes.
>>
>>81325046
>It wasn't "technically" bad
If they are literally using models and tracing or even copying them that is bad art plain and simple. That's why people look down on those who just draw photos they found on the internet. They are displaying no knowledge of space or lighting or anything really. They are just good at copying lines.
>>
>>81319424
The cunt who draws Squirrel Girl.

It's suppose to be one of Grant Morrison's psychologically weird issues or some shit. I skip it every time I reread his Batman run.

Pulido really turned me off from Soule's She-Hulk run to the point that I dropped it. I've heard it was decent though

I think Dillon was good back in the 90s. Stuff like Animal Man, Preacher, etc are solid.

He just turned too much into a machine. Not nearly as much as a Deodato or Land, but he definitely still has some idea of scene structure and isn't just putting characters in a pose.
>>
>>81325314
The art was awful at every stage, but it was honestly one of the best runs they did that year.
It was a shame it was cancelled.

>>
Whats with all the hate on Steve Dillon? Guys great and his work on Judge Dredd is amongst my all time favourite.
>>
>>81319424
The thing about Dillon is that, yes its all the same and he can only really do one facial style, and from any given non character page you don't know if you are reading Punisher, Preacher, Constantine or Wolverine: Origins.

but I find it a very easy style to read, despite the same face you can tell who everyone is and what is going on
