This will likely end up as my most enjoyed fight, given what the Condesce showed off back in Cascade. She's a very visually appealing character, with some cool powers to boot. It'll also be interesting to see John, Roxy and Rose putting their powers to work in an extended fight. Although I'm not entirely certain what Kanaya is going to contribute, she seems a bit out of her depth in comparison to the other combatants. I also wonder how they're going to factor Jane in; will she be completely safe and passive at the back? Or will she have to pull some stunts mid-fight to avoid being focused down? My hope is the Condesce cottons on to her quickly and tries to eliminate her as the primary threat and how they deal with that focus in their winning condition for the fight.
Outside of that, the other fights have a solid chance of being great too. Union Jack and Spades Slick will be interesting if not just for the Jacks. Jake is either going to fail horribly or pull out the Hope wildcard, possibly both. I've seen some cool ideas in the talkback threads about some Lord English related shenanigans with Jake and the Felt, so I'll be waiting to see what happens there.
Seeing Jade bring the Becs into line will also be fun, given how important they could be in directly combating Lord English when the Ghost Army inevitably fails. Honestly, I want to see how badly they get massacred given that they're effectively mass cannon fodder and Karkat is supposedly going to be front and center.

Kanaya is kind of graceful so she's usually tall and slim and tends to have a vampiric face, Feferi is sweet so she's usually pretty short and comparatively chubby, Karkat tends to be short because of the napolean complex stereotype.
The weird ones are things like buff Tavros and chubby Aradia, that seem to have come out of nothing in particular.

Gamzee suits being tall and somewhat thin. If you've ever known someone like that in real life, they can be deceptively in-shape without looking it, which fits his whole non-threatening to exceedingly threatening dynamic once he's off the sopor.

I agree that tall suits Gamzee and is the most common, but I've seen short fatzees. Gamzee's facial design varies most I think, some people give him rounded features and others thin sharp-nosed looks, and he can have a number of ethnic looks.

Ah okay that's helpful to know. Given her whole morbid obsession the Japanese design certainly fits her. Which is why her design in Remember just seemed so odd to me, I thought she was Feferi at first, had to rewatch just to make sure it was actually her.

Oh for sure, it usually comes down to individual interpretations when a character has such a contrast in personality from one point in the story to the next. My interpretation is influenced by a guy I used to smoke weed with who was so similar to Gamzee in his sopor addled state and was somewhat tall with long fingers/toes.
Honestly, him being tall and intimidating physically to contrast his initial harmless personality just seems to fit so much better than any other design.

It makes his rampage mode seem even more interesting if you interpret him with that design, given that the usual sneaky, strike from the shadows type characters are small and unassuming. Big Gamzee is the contrast to that physically speaking, given the face paint and hair. Then when you factor in that considerable physical power on top of his sporadic movement it makes him really seem threatening.
It's a shame it wasn't played up a bit when Equius went to confront him, exceeding physical prowess vs. considerable physical prowess teamed with sporadic movement from the shadows is a fucking amazing setup for a fight. But instead he just pops him with an arrow right off the bat, which is smart, but damn Equius could have had some time to shine right there.

Fuck knows at this point, but I feel once a character goes out of the immediate plot line they really don't get any significant presence, unless they're roped back in to a playing role. Given the events of Terezi remember I can't see her getting that, same for (Karkat) unless Karkat confronts him. However, is there really the time left to do that? And even if there was, it's already been done with Vriska and (Vriska) so I can't see it having much priority, narrative wise.
