Why were Klasky Csupo's human characters so disgustingly ugly? I understand having a distinctive art style, but it actually made their shows hard to watch.
Funny thing, Aahhh Real Monsters would make sense for this style, but the humans in that show were not nearly as ugly as most of their shows.

For some reason the Rugrats art style never bothered me the same way a lot of the other ugly art styles did.
their style seemed to work out okay for everything except the wild thornberries

I agree. The Rugrats artstyle is the only K-C artstyle I like, the others are unsettling to downright ugly.
