I feel like a good many folks feel like he is overrated (which i guess i can get) and mention how his images never look dynamic or always seem really stiff. I never got that. I dont think he is the end all be all but when he does stuff that hearkens back to the golden age and early silver age I absolutely love it.

Imagine this in modern movies. That's why I can get behind some adaptations, but classic DC characters are simply too good for today's "edgy grimdark tacticool" stylistics

To be completely honest, I'd welcome a movie as bright and, what's the name? cheesy? As Reeve's ones, only with today's visual effects and I'd be perfectly happy with it. Same with Cap Marvel, same with Batman doing actually detective stuff and not going fucking Die Hard on Gotham.
