>All hail Stephen King!
>>81178612
is there rule34 of this charater? I sure hope so :^)))
Stephen King is such a vulgar hack.
Dean Koontz and James Patterson are leagues better than him.
>>81181478
>vulgar as a reason something is bad
>>81178612
>of the lesbians!
i wonder where I can find Langalieres if I want to watch that
>>81178612
What even is this?
>>81182663
Harry partridge.
he used to make cartons but now he's dead.
>>81182731
What already? He made a cartoon like 6 days ago.
>>81181938
Saw it on Netflix not too long ago.
>>81182819
nah, that's just his ghost
>>81182819
PROVE IT
PROOVE IT
>>81181478
>James Patterson is better
I read enough James Patterson in my teenage years to know that's outright horseshit. There's maybe like 2 readable Alex Cross books and those Maximum Ride novels have some of the most insane, gobbledygook lore and storytelling I've ever seen in a YA series.
>>81178612
Stephen King is an anti-gun pussy fart
he tries to blame guns for mass shootings when his book Rage directly inspired 2 school shootings
Sorry, but I have trouble taking any writer seriously that produces novels every year, often 2 or 3, for 40 years in a row. That's just not the nature of raw literature.
Short stories and articles, sure, but not 400+ page dramas. It's just consumption at that point.
>>81182819
Dont say what already like I just said something outlandish motherfucker. his last one before that was 10 months ago.
>>81185074
Rage is legit a great book though

>>81185153
We have to take this anon seriously guys, he's such a selective and focused author that produces 0 books a year for 40 years in a row
>>81178612
IT is a terrible book.
Unless you are desperate to read a novel with a pointlessly-inserted underaged kiddy-gangbang scene then give it a miss.
>>81186914
Naw it isn't
Book's too short to make an impact
Unexplained deeds of main character which is why I can't get into the story.
Absurd actions, despite heavy subject
>>81181478
They're not even the same kind of writers.
When Stephen, King writes from the heart he's mostly writing about Heinlein type nostalgia bait.
Dean Koontz and James Patterson are rooted more in whatever the current present is.
>>81181478
>Patterson
>Koontz
>good
>>81189215
When I was a kid It was amazing. As an adult...not so much. As a kid the dark tower series was amazing. As an adult... it was seriously flawed.
The shining is still pretty good though, same with Needful things. I wish someone had gotten king to drop most of the paranormal crap from The Stand.
>>81181478
james Patterson doesn't write shit. You know why he has like 16 fucking books each year? Because those little author names you see crushed under his on the cover are doing the real writing. It's a fucking great scam he worked out for himself
>>81181757
nice
>>81181478
>Dean Koontz and James Patterson are leagues better than him.
>>81185074
And that's why he removed the book from print
>>81181619
Pretty sure he's using "vulgar" to mean "common", not "profane".
>>81185074
I realized that Stephen King is much better at making characters than he is about writing stories.
I mean, his plots range from shit to okay, but the reason I read these stories is because he writes a character you can actually care about.
Yeah, I have no idea why Rage kid took his class hostage, but I cared about him and still kind of don't know how he got the class to join with him and turn against the one student.
