Guess what, alot of artists in the comics or cartoon industries has drawn porn at some time. Most did so under a pseudonym, but they still did. The reason is because porn is consistent work that pays the bills until you can get a better more respectable gig.
Some of the artists even enjoy making it and keep doing so privately even after getting better jobs (Bruce Tim for example).
And porn artists that are actually good tend to be really good with anatomy, being able to draw motion, and how to create a vast array of facial expressions (note I said Good artists).
