To all the fem anons and gay anons that pretend to be fem anons what type of fanservice do you want to see in your comics?, what is your favorite favorite body type, what do you want in your husbandoes, and what character do you want to look like?

I'm no moviefag, but I actually think Marvel's films have a good idea of how to do fanservice. Don't make it blatant -- just a shirtless scene here or there, or something similar. Keep the musculature looking realistic and make it just a bit "rounded", the way muscles look in real life.

Preferred body type is pic related -- muscular, but without going overboard. Hair on chest is optional and depends on the character. I generally find male characters who are gentle to be the most appealing in terms of demeanor. Superman types, really.

I wish I looked like Power Girl.

emotional fanservice, little scenes here and there that show 'they really do care'
friendly banter laden with sexual tension

I like girl abs, buxom girls, flat chested boyish girls, attractive older men and twinky younger men. I can't take hyper muscley men seriously. Or women for that matter, but no one does hyper-muscle women in comics so who cares.
Mostly I just want variety grounded by strong iconography. If you line up a random super team I want to be able to guess the background and main theme of each character just from their outfit and body language.

I'm more disappointed that Jess got herself impregnated just because she was feeling a bit clucky, the baby isn't even important enough to her story to get a name, and that they have the ex-hydra a street level outfit then decided to give her this awkward baby all future writers have to work with or around rather than just giving her some corporate espionage stuff.

homoerotic subtext

Part of me really wishes I was kidding, but just like how a lot of guys think lesbianism is the sexiest thing ever, a lot of girls (and gay guys) fucking love the idea of male characters who are treated as bitter rivals becoming couples.

Like, to the point where Japan has learned how to capitalize on this crowd by taking works that would ordinarily appeal almost exclusively to guys and tailoring the male character designs so they're all attractive and tweaking their interactions to fill it with subtext, thus basically doubling their potential following.
>>
>>81147349

>somewhat made putting lgbt characters in mainstream comics a struggle.
It's not that people don't want gay characters in comics, it's just that, for the most part, whenever people put in gay characters, it's for brownie points rather than actually having a good character that's gay. And it's when it's for brownie points that you get people complaining, which then gets labeled as "homophobic" and gets immediately defended by people who are just looking for people who check boxes, when, really, the complain is about poorly written characters.
I don't mind gay characters, I don't have a negative opinion on gay people in general either, but if you end up pulling something like Korra, and just having the characters being "gay" to save your shipwreck from being considered a complete shipwreck, then that's stupid and people are going to complain.

Yep. You nailed it.

I was referring to people who complain about lgbt characters in series they don't even follow. But there is that other side of the slope where people don't know how to focus on character and personality instead of referencing the fact that said character is gay. And if you dare to ask "What else is there to this character other than their sexuality?", the fire starts. Which is a really shitty because it's that whole bullshit mentality of either "trying not to offend someone else" or being overly defensive.

Really the only comic series I'm following that writes gay characters well is Transformers: More than Meets the Eye. That's the only series I can think of where there are two male bots who are in a relationship. I forget they're even gay because they have good chemistry just talking to each other and their personalities.

>some people got really triggered by this even though everyone knew he was bisexual for a very long time.
That's an issue too, some people want to be angered by something just to be mad and some writers don't want to deal with that mess either.

You're damned if you do, damned if you don't.

I want big hairy bara men and I like strong, manish women. Not a supermodel with muscles but not a fat dyke either, something more androgynous I guess like >>81155513

Also tough trashy tomboys. I love me some sleazebag characters.

Plenty of Olympic athletes look like women and are easily identified as such IMMEDIATELY at first glance.

No, you don't get to make the Jenner joke since I'm typing this.

Rough, wiry guys who can fuck you up and do so for the rush of it. Casual smoking and drinking are a plus, sarcasm and asshole sh comments a must.

Or big nice guys who you can cuddle in bed with and hide your face in their chests.

Body hair required on both types 90% of the time.

Nope. And it's not mentaiko. At one point the guy pretends to be sick to avoid the guy he likes and he shows up at his house everyday or something. And the seme wasn't able to attend a competition he was needed at because he punched a guy for calling his love a faggot.

More gay women who are fully fleshed out. You fall on love with their faults and scars and their good times before they start to naturally fall in love in an almost abusive fashion at first but it slowly becomes a part of their characters until a messy breakup happens then they go on with their lives and gave their own lives whole still being connected by plot and in the end they're good friends with other love interests (hopefully other well written ladies).

Very specific, but I'd buy that shit up.

>>
>>81174757
But most lesbians are well-written, fleshed out characters with faults and lives and shit that happens to them.

It's the gays that are stereotypes and precious untouchable icons.
>>
>>81164527
That crazy look in her eye. Hot damn. Is buy her a beer and let her destroy all holes.
>>
A lot of people are angered at gay/bi characters being present "just for brownie points" and confused that some people don't see this as a problem.

The reason is that it's not a problem.

Rather than being a flaw in the characters' writing, it's a presumed hidden motive used to discredit and attack the authors for largely-imagined reasons. Some people do this INSTEAD OF actually criticizing how the characters are written, with the result being that they focus more on the character's sexuality than the quality of the writing. Whatever motives these people attach to themselves or the targeted authors, the result is that people write gay and bisexual characters, and other people spend a lot of words expressing their anger over this; it's easy to see why this might seem suspicious.

Don't forget that being a lesbian in any medium means unlimited suffering
