Fox has no major releases between now and Xmen so of course they're out promoting it like crazy. Sure, but it's the third installment in the trilogy and only now Xavier is bald and in a wheelchair, and still Beast is only blue half the time.
I wanted them to make one or two O5 movie, establish the characters, and eventually transition to the second team with a new Wolverine. They are trying to take the biggest bite at every time instead of going for the long run, and we'll never really get a full-on X-men movie. It's always two steps forward and one step back. They are enjoyable movies, I'll give you that, but they ain't X-men movies.
We'll see. Whedon's out, Snyder is on his way, maybe Singer might leave too. Heck, get Whedon to write and put someone competent on direction to ignore all his quips and dialogue. He's not terrible at story, and he did write good X-men.
