Do you still read comics /co/ or have you given up?
I've given up trying to keep up with monthlies. I just read those when a book I am interested in drops in some form of collected edition.
I'm mostly reading stuff in my collection that I still haven't touched or books I've backed on kickstarter that have been shipped to me.

... Source?

I gave up on anime awhile back and I'm happier for it

Not comics. I still read them sometimes. But i did gave up on capeshit.
Now i only read stuff that is non cape related. I still love Superman and do not regret buying his clasics, but i try to stay the fuck away from the big 2.

Yes, but I've gotten pickier and started trade-waiting.
no, I still read comics, though I've almost given up on /co/
There are about 30 threads about comics on the board right now, with a large chunk of those with 10 or so posts or storytimes with little discussion.
So I'm going to go with no.
Gave up on monthly cape series entirely, and am really picky about the indie books I read. I tend to stick to kickstarter projects and genres I am interested in, so mostly fantasy and cyberpunk stuff.
Otherwise it's mecha manga and porn.
>does /co/ read comics
mostly no
everythings so bad and /co/ mostly talks about movies so i rarely get an update of whats even good so i've just tapped out.
Yup, i'm mostly a DH fag and i currently reading Conan, after that i will try to read Nextwave or something of Superman.
Yeah I still read comics, I've only given up on Marvel and DC's modern work. I still believe that a good comic could come from either company, I just don't care about what's going on in universe
I think my general cut off point is the mid 2000's
>>80997407
I read comics all the time, just not capeshit. Shame that's that /co/ talks about 75% of the time.
>>81000969
I wouldn't mind /co/ being about capeshit 75% of the time if it at least was about cape comics and not fucking movies.
Yep, the only publisher I don't read is Marvel.

>read comic that is bearable
>only lasts 6-12 issues and is usually so decompressed that it barely tells a story
>or becomes full of event and crossover garbage
Shared universe was a mistake.

Im gonna need some sauce on that, OP.

They're both shit, but yes, capeshit movies do get a disproprtionate amount of attention due to being way more popular with the general population.

>ywn touch Scott's crotch
;_;
Also, I'll probably always love capes. I like heroes being heroic.
>>80997407
I am still reading the classics. haven't read anything new in the last months.
>>80997407
Sure. Indy stuff and 60's-90's Marvel/DC.
>>81001064
You do good staying the hell away from Marvel. It's a cesspool.
Yes because I'm not a retard with a narrow view of the medium
/v/a/g/ poster after giving up on /co/.
Waited for euro comics to become a thing but never did.
>>80997407
'Course I fucking do. After years of buying nothing but pretentious hipster garbage I've gotten back into capeshit recently, too.

I wish my fucking life was drawn by Mignola.
