This. It was pretty much the movie but in 20 minutes and with more lore, all helped by the fact that it had passion behind it, at least in the first 2 seasons.

Not in the least. I really enjoyed the mostly female Ghostbuster lineup in the IDW comics and wouldn't mind if they made that a more permanent arrangement. Barring an IDW version of Chilly Cooper from the Slimer segments, I don't know who the fourth member would be though outside of a new character.
The problem with the film is that it just looks awful and there's always been the air of it being a cheap cash-in rather than anything else.

The Robocop reboot was mostly good. Trying to shoehorn pottery with the first one in at the very end was a mistake. It was it's own different story up until then. It made no damn sense for Beetlejuice to act that way.
