What are some of the worst Disney animated movies/shorts/shows/etc. throughout history?
Do I get a prize? I've clearly won this thread.

Mars

All of these, plus Home on the Range, Dinosaur, The Black Cauldron, Journey into Imagination Without Figment and Quack Pack.
>>80926236
>The Black Cauldron
>bad
dude it's like an underrated gem to me
>DCA Cost $600 million to build
>Disney spent another $1.1 Billion to make it not shit
Jeez
>>80926297
When you really sit down and watch it, it's just not that engaging. The heroes contribute nothing to the plot other than practically handing the Horned King the Black Cauldron. It's trying to be dark, but due to the cuts made by Eisner and them, it never gets to that full level of darkness it tried to reach.
>>80926297
I was always mad at that one for how it butchered the source material. Of course Disney always does that, but since the book series was more contemporary I felt like they should have been more faithful.
>>80926236
>>80926350
And now you got rumors that they're going to shoehorn Guardians of the Galaxy into Tower of Terror as the first step in a halfassed Marvel Land
Movies:
Home on The Range
Chicken Little
Mars Needs Moms
Shows:
Teamo Superemo
American Dragon Jake Long
TV Shows:
Around 93% of them
That's all I can think of at the moment.
>>80926468
Disney's taking another whack at the books

>>80926572
Fuck, forgot all of the current Marvel shows.
>>80926577
I just hope this leads to BC finally getting a world in Kingdom Hearts 3, though I'd rather take Treasure Planet due to being a better movie.
>I've seen people here saying they love this movie
Holy fuck dude.
>>80926656
The message is actually really great, but the whole "lol wacky family" pretty much ruined the marketing, despite them not even doing that much.
>>80926656
I think it because people where expecting absolute dog shit, but got an okay movie.
>>80926687
>>80926820
Yeah the marketing focusing around the Memeasaurus Rex hides that it's actually a nice sci-fi romp with a heart, great production design, an entertaining villain and all tied together with a nice Walt-ism bow indicating that the animation studio was starting to get their shit together.
Way better than fucking Bolt
Question related to Disney:
Was there ever been a story where Mickey loses?
Or is it just plain impossible for Mickey to fail to stop bandits in every story where he is involved?
>Remember Ducktales?
>Let's just not do that
>Also JUST 90s MY SHIT UP
>>80926236
>Quack Pack
Why do people shit on Quack Pack
Yes, they tried too hard to make Donald's nephews cooler and "more modern" but outside of that it was a decent cartoon for what it was
>>80927108
And Tangled, Frozen, and Big Hero 6 too.
Did like Smash-It Steve and Zootopia though.
>>80926548
Why not in epcot or something that's sci fi?
>>80927734
Because this way they don't have to pay royalties for the Twilight Zone any more, they can get a Marvel ride in American parks as quickly as possible with minimal effort because the high costs of Shanghai construction and Paris renovation are gnawing at the American parks alloted resources and the exec in charge of Parks now is a guy from Consumer Products that helped invent the whole Disney Vault marketing scheme.
This was designed for California Adventure first, but it's cheaper to split the costs and make it a bicoastal thing. TDO doesn't want it as a permanent thing because of expense and having another ride down for a while in the park that has almost everything else going under the knife, but they're apparently going to have to bite the pillow.
>>80928006
What about that Universal Studios park?
>>80928006
yeah, but why GotG in the tower of terror? why not any other property?
when I think Groot, I don't think spooky ghosts
>>80928555
>>80928478
Guardians is the only Marvel property in the MCU that's not tied up in Universal Studios's contract
>>80927128
Anyone knows? Or it really has never happened?
>>80928626
You sure?
I don't recall seeing any Squirrel Girl or Deadpool at Islands of Adventure
>>80927108
Honestly I just think that people were still annoyed at CGI Disney after Chicken Little.
>>80928843
Deadpool's part of the X-Men franchise and Squirrel Girl doesn't have a movie.
This monstrosity.
>>80928886
So what's stopping them from adding a Squirrel Girl ride?
>>80926548
I like GoTG and all but this would legit piss me off. The atmosphere in ToT is fucking perfect.
>>80928901
God, through out years of production no one had the balls to say "these aliens look fucking disgusting"
THE EMPERORS NEW GROOVE
>>80930284
>>80926297
It's a clusterfuck of a movie. The animation is nice, but the plot and characters just don't work.
>>80930284
In your alternate universe where the movie was played straight, maybe. It would probably be like Princess and the Frog with a dull movie with one kickass musical number.

>>80927255
In retrospect there was absolutely no reason for it to star Donald, Daisy and the nephews.
If they replaced them with original characters it would have been better.
>>80926577
This is one of the only times where a gritty live-action reboot both makes sense.
This was crap and you all know it.
This was the movie that made me lose faith in the mouse

Delete your account and never post again.
>>80934062
It's not the worst. It's got perfect casting, cute main characters, and a top tier villain.
It ended up mediocre from the bizarre decision to transform the main girl into an ugly frog and spend 2/3 of the movie in a swamp with annoying comic relief alligators and insects.
>>80929732
They were probably hoping their designs would be received like ET

I fucking hated the commercials for that movie. I finally tried to watch it a few years after it came out and it was unsurprisingly terrible.
Brother Bear.
Fuck literally EVERYTHING after he got turned into a bear.
>>80925725
It was on at my old job every morning. I started to enjoy it after a while; though, it was probably from some form of Stockholm syndrome.
>>80928788
>>80927128
The three earliest Mickey cartoons, Steamboat Willie, Plane Crazy and The Barn Dance. The latter one especially, Pete cucks him with Minnie.

Eddie Mcdowd never turned human, I see.

I dunno what it is about posters like that but they make me think "yes, every actor in this is a ghastly mannequin".

hahahahaha
what?
