Power levels don't matter in fighting games. In the Injustice game, Joker and Harlequin can beat Superman. There wouldn't be a power level dispute because there's a healthbar. I can agree if you were talking about a movie.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 was licensed and in development waaaayyy before the The First Avenger, even though they were both released in the same calendar year. Capcom could buff/de-buff whomever they pleased at that time.
Capcom was right, btw. He's a corny throwback character that Marvel props up as their mascot.

This is literally the only thing about the Disney acquisition that irks me.
They'll never see the profitability in it (because let's be honest there isn't much) so they'll never make it.
It's my favorite fighting game series of all time
I still find it so weird that Marvel had say in the cast but none of the big MCU Avengers villains made it in.
Loki, Ultron and Thanos would have made great characters (and yes I know a shitty Thanos was in 2)

Small mercies. I can only imagine the bullshit that would run rampant if a 4th game was even announced. I mean, I'd have no choice BUT to imagine it, since it's not happening, but what I mean is that between Disney's bullshit, Marvel's bullshit, Capcom's bullshit, Capcom's fans' bullshit and the fact that Capcom kinda undermined the series' prestige, there's no way it'd go over well, even if we got a good game out of it.
