there's a huge difference between the 3 sequels done by Walt Disney Animation Studios (The Rescuers Down Under, Fantasia 2000, Winnie the Pooh) and all sequels made by DisneyToon Studios (all of them are terrible)
I'd have to go with Winnie the Pooh as the best sequel.

Simba's Pride is still the only one I can watch without contemplating doing something better with my time.
Lion King 2 is entirely unnecessary, but it's also the only one to actually have a fucking idea at its core that ties into the original (going from Hamlet to Romeo and Juliet)
all the others are just like HEY ITS THOSE CHARACTERS YOU LOVE THEY'RE BACK AND RETREADING EVERYTHING FOR YOU

The Disney Faries movies started off following the usual 'diminishing returns' track but halfway through things improves drastically.
On the back of the excellent shorts, The Pixie Hollow Games and The Great Bake Off the movies started to get really good.
By the time Neverbeast rolled around it was surprisingly emotional, not only for the story but because it marked an unexpected end to the whole series.
I wish they'd spend money on more of these rather than dumping it into crapfests like the Cars franchise.

Honestly they wasted their time and money making shitty sequels to their old movies. Kids don't understand quality in the slightest.
You could just sell a DVD of a single 10 minute animation looping for a total of 90 minutes.
