Adult Swim moved up the premiere date and hasn't even run any promos yet despite it being in 2 weeks, not to mention they're premiering the season at midnight after reruns of Mike Tyson Mysteries and Robot Chicken.

I'm bored of the show OP. The long hiatus between seasons (started in 03) ruined the experience for me. With no advertising, I can say that AS simply wants to move on and end this era of forgotten entertainment.

They treat cancelled shows better than VB. With the exception of the god-awful and never-ending Robot Chicken, the main weeknight lineup is composed of Adult Swim originals that have been cancelled.

Yeah. The one saving grace of AS was DVR Theater which would air weirder and classic AS programs. Now it's just airing the same informercial parody rerun episode every night of the week because AS doesn't give a shit anymore and can't be bothered to actually schedule something in, much less something that would be a treat for longterm fans.

Venture Bros is arguably the best thing to ever come out of AS. Just another failure in a long list of [as] mishaps involving their original programming.

They canceled Aqua Teen because the president of [adult swim] was "ready to move on" from it.It's the same reason he canceled Space Ghost. When he gets bored of shows he kills them, even when they're his own pet projects.

Well, there's still plenty of jokes where the punchline is "lol, gay!", but this show tears into absolutely everyone. Hell, if anything characters like The Alchemist and Shoreleave get off easy by comparison. They're fleshed out characters that aren't just token inclusions or stereotypes.

It actually was time for Aqua Teen to go though. While is started to get ok again towards the end, everything from Season 4-5 on was just bad.
