So I heard this was good and it wasokay.
Bill Burr voiced a great character, but pretty much everything else was par at best. I'm surprised how generically sitcommish it was considering it's Burr's project. Granted it did get delightfully dark at some points, but not nearly as much as I thought it would.
It handles some heartwarming moments maturely, but in the end, I don't think it found the balance between vulgar and sweet it was looking for.
Still it's only six episodes long, and it does has some decent laughs. Worth a shot in my book.
Also Justin Long is awful in this. Seriously phoning it in.

pretty much agree, it's not awful, but Bojack did this kind of show better. I'll check out a 2nd season if there is one.

Because I swear that kid sounded just like some other angsty teen boy who I can't recall at the moment, and I'm not sure if that's how Justin Long performs, or if they payed him for a very generic performance. But its not like the audio in general was particularly well done.

Bojack is pessimistic and MADE to go nowhere.
This ends up, oddly enough, with a positive message.
It's actually one of the few "adult cartoons" after Bojack and Rick and Morty that doesn't basically imply EVERYTHING IS MEANINGLESS at the end.
