It's pretty alright.
I think I like it about as much as MPH, but not any more haha.

The most interesting thing about it is that his (and presumably his family's) powers are meant to be the E1 analogue of the power set of E2 inhabitants.

NEXT MONTH:

>New revelations about Huck's origins come to life.

Supertard is alright.
>>
This always washes out the taste of American Alien for me.
>>
>>78955041

It's alright.

Now...it took a second but
>Tom & Huck
Damn it Millar.
>>
>>78955082
... oh shit.
>>
>>78955140
Always for the juggular
>>
>>78955017
IIRC from last issue we know his Mum was a test subject in one of the USSR Science Cities.

After reading this and Planetary I looked it up, and I'm fascinated by how these kind of places actually existed. Minus the superpowers.
>>
>>78955220
Actually if you read MPH it was clear as day from Solicits.
But yeah, crazy stuff.
>>
>>78955082
That cheeky fucker
>>
>>78954695
I don't know why but this stereotypical hood nigga annoys me.

Seems like Millar wrote him in for the exposition but then doesn't connect him to the people who threaten Huck. Why does he care that Huck's on private property? Is he warning him? What does he have to gain by lying about if there is or isn't a girl called Lindsay somewhere in that apartment building? Why doesn't he just shoot Huck there and then if he's some sort of lookout? If he is a lookout, why is he calling Huck from behind in the first panel like he just happened to be passing by before he saw an out of place white guy?

I think it's the gang sign that gets me the most.
>>
>>78955082

At least he didn't give Huck an african american pal named Jim.

Please don't, Mark.
>>
>>78955691
>gang sign
if it was meant to be a gang sign, that's dumb. If you're misinterpreting it, and it was just intended to be a mangled "you gon' get shot" gesture, that's passable.

>out of place white guy
Exactly. OUT OF PLACE white guy. "Black kid that is curious as fuck but unreasonably hostile and unhelpful" is not an unheard of encounter. In fact, I'd dare say "random kid hassles you on the street cause you clearly don't belong" is actually realistic for the part of town he's supposed to be in.
>>
>>78954962
The premise is strong though.
>>
bumping to read.
>>
>>78954635
Thanks Designated Dave, nothing better that a good old heart warming Millar stuff.
>>
>>78954890
huck, feeding wild animals is just making the problem worse. you are encouraging breeding, overpopulation, and dependency on human waste as a source of food.
pretty much exactly as if you were giving those drug addicts drugs, because you saw them in withdrawal.
>>
>>78954877
What's that note from?
>>
>>78960261
The first issue.
It's what his mama left him.

>>78957841
Yeah, so was MPH.
They also have some character bits in between time skips.
>>
>>78954996
Did not see that coming.
>>
The pacing in this is excellent.
>>
>>78960159
Millar is not a smart man.
>>
Thanks, OP.
>>
Wholesome Millar is the worst kind of Millar
>>
>>78961913
Nah, Chrononauts Millar is the worst kind of Millar
>>
bumping for others.
