Were you ready?/
>>78782293
The movie was about growing up
Almost all of the stuff from her childhood was being replaced
What did you think was going to happen?
>>78782311
Actually I had heard thatJoy killed Bing Bong/. So the thing I'd spent the whole movie preparing myself for didn't actually happen, and my defenses were down.
>>78782375
i kinda like when that happens
>>78782293
It wasn't that sad.
The scene where Joy started crying when she finally understood the importance of sadness was what got me.
Bing Bong's"death"might of had more of an impact if I wasn't spoiled though.
Also, his character worked better in the earlier plans for the movie when they showed that Riley didn't want to do childish things anymore.
The movie was supposed to be about Joy and Bing Bong instead of Joy and Sadness.

It didn't hit me for a while. I was expecting he'd be back in some random bullshit way to make things a completely happy ending. At least, I kept telling myself that, and it didn't happen.
>>78782293/co/ kept claiming he would be the villain
>>78783323
This scene doesn't make any sense, meeting new friends isn't a joyful experience?
Just watched the movie about a week ago. I knew it was gonna happen from browsing /co/, I just didn't know when or how. It was really cool of him to sacrifice himself so Joy could get back but I honestly didn't really 'feel' for him or anything.
>>78783857
The way he was acting in his first few moments, I thought so too. I figured he had some sinister motive for leading Joy and Sadness into the abstract thought chamber and almost getting them killed.
>>78782293
I was super hammered so I cried like a bitch.
I thought this movie was like... pretty okay in comparison to other pixar movies but the entire scene in the forgotten memory dump killed me
Were you supposed to hate Sadness? Because I think I was gritting my teeth the entire time she was on screen.
>>78784437
I thought she wascute
>>78784473
She looked like she caught a mild case of the downs.
>>78784437
You were supposed to think she was a weight, that sadness is literally a useless luggage you carry along and being sad solves nothing
Did they succeed in their intent?
>>78783946
This is me exactly. I watched it for New Year's. Didn't care for the movie much, really. It was alright. It was a nice nod to Dom DeLuise, and it made me miss him. I guess that was a thing.
>>78786886
That is literally the exact opposite of the entire point of the movie. I don't know how you managed to miss the goal post so completely that you actually land a different goal on the other side of the planet.
>>78782293
Riley was ready for theBing Dong
>>78782293
Oh look, it's a stealth Inside Out general again. I fucking love this movie but come on famiss
>>78789370
>famiss
Why do people still use that term?
I got spoiled. I still teared a bit, but I felt kinda dirty afterwards since it felt really forced.
>>78789370
>stealth
Bing Bong is right in the OP picture.
>>78788458
Kek
>>78787520
>namefag
>>78784437
I fucking hated her.
>>78784626
This because she's always down.
>>78793458
lol
>>78782293
Real Nigga.
>>78782293
Me and my gf were at the cinema. We were the only people there except a dad plus his two small kids a few rows in.
Treats rolled out of my eyes like I was some kind of pinata. The father had to escort the younger of his two sons out, because he cried, too, and I shot him a glance: I know, I know...
>>78784437
No, just irritated by her perpetual negative attitude
>>78782293
His death was such a relief. He was annoying as shit.
Joy a best
Sadness a cute
>>78796614
>hating Bing Bong
As soon as they went down there I figured that it was sacrifice time
>Scene where Riley cries with her parents
Bawled out tears like a broken faucet
>Scene where Bing Bong dies
Nothing. Absolutely nothing. He didn't get much development, so I didn't really care about him. The movie was obviously more about Joy and Sadness, so it's not like he'd be important even if they made it to the HQ.
>>78783857
According to the early concept art he was supposed to be a villain. He looked a lot more menacing back then.
>>78801763
Looks alright to me
>>78801885
>that flower
Remember when people thought he'd become an emotion?
>>78782375
>tfw I started that rumor
>>78801911
Huh, I just noticed the colors. Interesting.
>>78783323
Yeah, it was the same for me. That Joy scene and whenever Riley starts crying really get to me and I usually don't get gotten. It probably has something to do with it not looking like dignified, staged crying, but full on, contorted face, "I'm about to bawl like a bitch" crying. It probably also has something to do with the big eyed, big headed characters doing the crying.
>>78802359
>>78784437
I was the opposite. I hated Joy for being so controlling and everything needed to be happy all the time, which is why I liked how at the end she realised the other emotions have value.
>>78802494
Faggot Bing Bong was just standing there instead of hugging her
>>78802645
>she realised the other emotions have value
she always knew that, just not Sadness because she wasn't useful until now.
>>78802651
Joy is too pure to be hugged.
>>78782293
It's was glaringly obvious he would sacrifice himself. Inside Out was bad for Pixar's usual standards.
>>78802651
How's he gonna fucking hug her with just one arm?
>>78803996
You can hug with one arm tbqh
>No Inside Out standalone game
>>78807090
My mom has this game on her phone it's pretty dope
Joy maybe still remembers Bing Bong due to the promise of taking Riley fo the moon.
How is she going to make her remember him again?
>>78807958
Ding Dong is gone man.
>>78807368
This is a game I can't download for my outdated iPhone.
If I get an upgrade, I will download Inside Out: Thought Bubbles alongside some other games (mostly JRPGs and ports) but there are no losses since Ipirateanything which isn't free.
>>78807368
Sorry, I meant GOOD games
>>78810694
>waah no games
>here game
>that doesn't count
>>78810805
The art of moving goalposts, my friend. If only they had the Inside Out adventure from Disney Infinity but separate and longer.
>>78783877
Not when you're starting to realize the weight of the fact that you're old life is essentially gone and can't be brought back. And for a kid, that hits harder than say it would an adult, who can easily change their mind and return to their previous home should they feel things aren't working out. Of course, for anyone doing that by that age, they're at least capable of understanding the risks of making such constant changes
Fresh from the drawthread!
Sadness is cutest emotion.
>>78782293
Another movie where all the troubles could have been avoided had one of the main characters NOT been an insufferable cunt.
>>78811779
Congratulations, you don't get the movie at all.
>>78811763
She looks so cute!~
>>78782293
I was glad he was gone, fucker was annoying as shit.
>>78811779
Joy was hardly "insufferable", and barely a cunt. She was doing what she thought was right, and succeeded for the most part. The reason things go awry is because the emotions had all worked mostly individually when they felt like they most suited for a situation. Sadness didn't even know her purpose even before Joy started to display some control over her.
Honestly, go watch the fucking film before spouting shit like a retard.
>>78813294
What was annoying about him? He was a construct of Riley's childhood mind. Of course he would be energetic and silly. I mean, I'm admittedly biased because hisdeath/destroyed me. But come on. I think most of the characteristics that might make him "annoying" are pretty understandable in the context of his origins.
Hard to imagine he was played by the guy who helped ruin Tom and Jerry in their first movie outing.
>>78814901
What?
>>78815398
He's the guy who voiced Tom in that god awful film that had the woman who played Max in Goof Troop as Jerry.
You know, the unfunny piece of shit that had Tom and Jerry as cameos to some shitty human kid with daddy issues?
>>78813249
Agreed
>>78783323
Which Emotion is that co-piloting with Joy?
>>78815516
I never actually saw that movie.
I had the game adaptation of it on gameboy
That shit was hard, I don't think I ever got past the first Jerry level.
