Let's post pictures and youtube clips and talk about them and stuff
Were there any versions of a character that were very different that you DID like? Did any of them really make you mad?
I've gotta start off with this guy. What the fuck? This is no Lex Luthor. He does kind of have this mad villain persona about him in the trailers, but nothing about it feels Luthor to me
Though he was on his underwear.

wait, what?
Blade Trinity's Dracula design when transformed was fucking awesome.
>>78588355
You haven't even seen the fucking movie. People who have worked on it have said what you see in the trailer is just a show hes doing.
>>78588355
Every time I see that thumbnail, I think it's a pantsless girl, not Eisenberg Lex.
>>78588817
>just a show hes doing.
Well that's a shitty Lex then. Lex would never hide his true self in shame
>>78588853
>Lex would never hide his true self in shame
>in shame
It's a ploy. It's ALWAYS a ploy!
>>78588853
Have you ever read a comic in your life?
>>78588853
He's not hiding in shame. He's fucking with bruce and I can assume he knows he's Batman.
>>78588871
Yeah. Generally when I read a book with Luthor he's an egotistical smug bastard, and his level of success only adds fuel to the fire. He thinks he's the shit.
So why then would we get a version where he hides his real self and lets everybody think he's a dork that looks like a pot-smoking skateboarder and makes shitty jokes?
We'll have to wait until the movie to be sure, but I'm worried he's just going to be this Eisenberg character the whole entire time and not have an intimidating presence in the film

>So why then would we get a version where he hides his real self and lets everybody think he's a dork that looks like a pot-smoking skateboarder and makes shitty jokes?
>>78589099
What is he trying to hide? I don't get it
>>78589209
The fact that he's a fucking evil bastard?
>>78589227
He could hide that without acting like a cunt. I'm sure he's smart enough to keep his evil plans a well-hidden secret. Why the hair? Why the act? Will they figure out his entire plan if he acts like himself? To me, that doesn't really justify it.
>>78589326
He's not acting like a cunt.
He's pretending to be overly friendly and normie.
>>78589326
that's his real hair.
>>78589372
Won't Batman figure that out?
Won't Superman hear his heartbeat or something and know he's full of shit?
>>78589489
Probably, wait till the fucking movie to judge.
>>78588355
Nobody liked Gene Hackman as Lex Luthor, why the fuck would they think getting some skinny dork to pretend to be Gene Hackman pretending to be Lex Luthor would fucking work?
>>78588446
He saw the image and thought the blue of Lex's shirt were boxer shorts and he was pantsless.
>>78588355
Didn't know Moot was an actor
>>78589563
T-they are paying homage to the classics!
>>78589711
That's why he quit 4chan, so he could fit the filming into his schedule
>>78588853
>Lex would never hide his true self in shame
He might also be smart enough to realize that people don't respond well to ego-maniacal bluster and are more easily manipulated when you don't appear to be a threat to them.
Now that I think about it, it's a rather brilliant parallel between him an Clark. They both act like dorks to put people off, but Clark does it to keep from scaring folks, whereas Lex is getting people to let their guard down.
>>78589384
It's not. The scenes where he creates Doomsday is far advanced in the movie, after he dealt with Kryptonite and all, and he still has the same hair.
>Were there any versions of a character that were very different that you DID like?
This applies to a lot of DCAU characters. Wally is probably the biggest example of one that worked despite basically being an OC.
>>78589781
It doesn't matter if it's smart
Lex isn't just "le smart villain"
>>78589800
We're talking about live action versions
>>78589784
And? I don't understand you're point.
>>78588355
Could be worse.
Could be Ant-Man. Or GotG.
>>78589961
Anon is trying to say its a wig
>ITT: /tv/ posters confuse their headcanon with source material
>>78589846
The entirety of the MCU then.
>>78588355
As a DCfag, that lex Luther is a huge turn off from the actor to the portrayal.
Life is suffering ;-;'
