Honestly I want more monster-like grimms. Outside the lizard ones, every grimm is just an animal with a mask. There needs to be a grimm that makes us look at them and think "that's a monster", not think of it as a snake, or pig, or wolf, a straight up monster.
However, I wouldn't want things like that used until they decide to take the grimm seriously, because I don't want cool grimm designs wasted on weak ass fights.

In addition to his phone backgrounds, he reads quite a bit of webcomics frequently.
They're all furry stuff. Some are like VG cats which is more of a side thing than the actual focus, but some are legitimately just SoL comics with anthropomorphic animals doing fucking nothing.

As for other examples of his stupidity, he once accidentally bought all nine seasons of Supernatural on Pay-per-View or whatever it's called.
He once got suspended for coming to school with a pocket knife because someone bet him he didn't have a pocket knife.
He once binge-watched all the Doctor Who episodes available on Netflix. World war one does not work within the theme or feel of rwby, if you want to do it right you would want to look at something like Valkyria chronicles, where it is ww1 light.
Trench warfare, gas, and air power all make the individual soldier less useful. Also to accurately do ww1 you need to have more people then space, so that moving forward is a slog and costly.
If you are still set on it though basically set it up to follow a squady or two and remember the horrors of war.

ABRN would be taken out one by one as the closer and more in sync RWBY slam against them as a single fist intstead of five fingers.
Try to make it obvious that although the four are less technically skilled than ABRN being able to work together aided them greatly.

Keep most of the fight the same except with some improvements to the choreography. When Jaune tries to order them to finish them with team attacks and they have no fucking idea what he's talking about because they weren't listening to him earlier he gets knocked out of the ring by May.
End the fight the same way it did in canon, emphaziaing how OP NPR is and have Jaune look up at the sky and wonder if he can really work with his team being so different in skill set and style of fighting and seeing as they don't give two shits about his strategies.

Neptune is knocked the fuck out. Sage brute forces two of them in a ring out before losing himself and the fight instead of ending in TPK ends with Sun and Scarlet out fighting their respective opponents.
>Mercury/Emerald vs Coco/Yatsuhashi
Yatsuhashi's fighting style is now entirely changed. He's a sharpshooter fighter with the sword sheaved and his dukes up. Think Cro Cop. Because Coco still has to be in the fight she remains as useless as ever.
He and Mercury ring out. When Yats grabs Mercury he slams him into the ground but is unable to touch Mercury as he keeps him at a distance with his feet.
So Yats picks him up and throws himself out of the ring with Mercury's legs wrapped around his neck
>Weiss/Yang vs Flynt/Neon
Weiss lasts much longer into match. Trips up Neon allowing Yang to catch up and pummel her. Yang pummels Flynt because of a trap Weiss sets up.

I wouldn't mind it so much if it looked like it was costly to use, she needs to get damaged in order for it to power up? Then show her hurt when she uses it. She took Flynt's last attack at point-blank range, and she just shrugged it off, instead it should have been her powered up, but obvious that if she didn't finish the fight soon it would run out and Neon would be able to take her out easily.

Maybe it's just me, but it seemed like whenever the fight focused on two (or three) characters, time might as well have stopped for whoever else was offscreen, like they were paused or something. The whole thing just felt a bit off. Plus Nora one-shotting them in the end was just stupid (although it may have been a bit more tolerable if we hadn't just seen Yang do the same to ABRN).
