Some of the themes feels outdated as fuck for internet(like ringu and early webcomic era artwork). Maybe that was the author's intention, making a webcomic in 2015 while aiming for 2005's internet.

To be fair Thanksgiving has been trying to move alot away from the whole Pilgrim thing recently to just eating food and giving thanks if thats a thing, i agree its kinda a pointless holiday but its a huge economic holiday so it will never go away.

Christmas is about presents and flashing lights. Ester is about egg hunts and candy. Halloween is about trick or treating, spooky bullshit everywhere, and sexy parties.
Thanksgiving is about eating turkey, visiting your family, watching football, and falling asleep on the couch.
