He's got a point. It's incredibly weeb and it did poke a lot more fun about that kinda shit in the beginning. It was too fluffy in the beginning though and it felt like a Pratchett impersonation. The pendulum started swinging the other way into Gaiman territory but I think it will strike a nice balance.
If I had to pick one I'd pick gay man though.

The comic's still fine really, but it's far too slow for a webcomic format and Zack really needs to start drawing backgrounds again.
Also, even disregarding the lack of backgrounds, there's something about the older art that looks far nicer. I don't know what it was, but something about the lighting, colouring, or linework looked much nicer.
