One of my first comic books, bought it like 20 years ago.
Dark Empire is definitely fanficy but the art is fucking fantastic, all of the characters' personalities are captured right and it has the RIGHT kind of EU ridiculousness. Only SW EU comic I've liked.
Anyone have recs based on this? Main desires are not shitty art and fanfic that goes into absolute absurdity as opposed to feeling like a 14 year old's SW message board posts.

Not him but I think the joke was that the idea of a clone having the same name with one more vowel is a bit silly, let alone the concept of a cloned Luke as a villain which is the least creative thing they could have pulled. Even Kenner was more creative when they wanted to keep Star Wars toy production going with a story about the beginning of the clone wars with some actually new characters.
