Why couldn't Livewire have had her own DCAU series?
She could've been a shit-talking radio host like she started out, but with the ability to turn superpowered at will.
It'd have been neat to regularly see the DCAU through the eyes of a villain in a slice of life kind of way.
Or if that's too radical, make her an unwilling do-gooder on Amanda Waller's sort leash.

The problem with how DC did their reboot is that readers have to play "spot the small difference in canon" when reading stories where characters are re-introduced. You keep getting *Character shows up*, followed by a flashback acting as a half-assed origin story to differentiate this version from the previous one(s).
