Hey guys, i've got some bad news. A great friend of mine, a guy who i talked about comics with for years and years, the guy who showed me this board, the guy who got me back into comics, he passed away.
He was an avid poster on /co/, starting out as a lurker on story time threads where he would text me and we would read shit together. He started posting in batman threads talking about his ideas for the future, I swear we came up with a full year long story arc for him sitting outside his house at 1 am eating wendy’s. He’s the one who got me into Arrow and Flash, and would post all the type in the hype threads. When deathstroke first came on he called me he was so excited. And when the blue lanterns came out in GL? He resonated with that. A guy with deep depression looked at Saint Walker and agreed with him. All will be well.
He loved you guys. He would talk shit on 4chan all day but goddamn did he love you guys. He was bullied a lot, and comics were his way of coping, and our highschool always fucked with us because of it, but you guys. You guys took his crazy ideas and you loved it. And i thought you guys, as some of his friends, would need to hear this.
So heres to you, a guy who i would get burritos with and talk about power levels in the DC universe, a guy who i would drive around with and talk about how big of a shit show Man of steel was, a guy who i spent hours with writing out the next 9 movies for DC to match marvel.

A lot of times we come here because we have nowhere else to go, everyone's in the same situation of shitty jobs or joblessness, no real family support, and very few real life friends. It becomes a havit, but because we're all stuck in this bad habit together we get a sense of camaraderie out of it in the end.

Any batman comic really, the guy was a fiend. RIP, no mans land, killing joke, serious house on serious earth, long halloween. We both had a fucking field day with morrison writing Dickbats and damien robin, that was a fantastic series.
Classic spiderman and even Spock he loved, He had so many favorites, so many things we would talk about its so hard to chose just one.
