The theme of the Land Of The Remembered is everything is colorful and delicious. A major part of the celebrations of the Day of the Dead is eating skulls and even whole skeletons made of hardened sugar.
Contrast with Xibalba's realm, where the people look like actual skeletons.
Also remember that calacas are supposed to look like skeletons, but stylistically are given features like hair directly on the bones, or skin-features as needed. They're not outright skeletons.
Before vore comes to mind, remember that you can make that sugar stuff so hard it's practically a fucking brick that'll take fucking weeks to dissolve even submerged in water. Plus, y'know, magic I guess. Since they're actually eating food and drinking in the afterlife I imagine they're like sugar concrete.

They had to rip the roster from one of the biggest ever for a fighting game into a really, really small sampling designed to appeal to fetishes and get the basic combat styles when they realized how expensive it was going to be, then even more when they lost their dosh and had to beg fans for more.
Supposedly they're going to add more of the planned ones to Skullgirls 2 if it ever gets made, and reuse the assets from the first game.

"Woah, hold it there twerp, what's got your bandages in a bunch?" Winnie had been the first ghoul to happen across Tanis' panicked tirade and halted her with a simple palm held against the mummy's face.
"Winnie! Winnie come look, it's awful! The sky is raining down cold ashes! The heavens are aflame!"
"....That's just snow, dummy."
"Snow? What's snow?"
"Snow, it's what happens when it's winter out," Winnie explained with a shrug. This was Tanis' first Christmas at Grimwood so Winnie and the older students would have to explain a lot of holiday traditions to her. Starting with Tanis' first snowfall; being the first girl awake every morning Tanis had been the first to get to the frosted school window and see the freshly fallen blanket of white powder and, predictably, panicked.
Then a thought popped into Winnie's still-groggy brain that woke her up better than any morning cup of coffee could. "Hey, Tanis, come quick!" Winnie exclaimed with glee, grabbing a clawful of her friend's bandages and tearing off through the school dragging Tanis behind her.
"Here, here watch this!" Winnie grinned as she pressed her nose up against the glass of the window overlooking the school graveyard. In the middle of the weather-worn and decayed headstones was a solitary grave marker kept in pristine condition bearing the name 'Phantasma'.
"What are we watching...?"
"Just wait," Winnie hushed her, waiting patiently. All was silent, peaceful, the fat snowflakes drifting lazily down to join the blanket of frost gathering on the cemetery soil. "Any minute now..."
A piercing shriek rattled the school's windows.
"COOOLLLLLD!" Phantasma screamed, flying up out of her grave in nothing but her sleeping shroud and long dangly nightcap. She hopped from bare foot to bare foot, "EEeeeeColdcoldcoldcold!"

"Ahem," Sibella jolted upright in her chair, suddenly aware that she wasn't alone. Her older sister Elizabeth Dracula-Bathory stood opposite her, grinning down knowingly, and Sibella threw her hands over her embarrassingly short list of Christmas wishes far too late.
"Oh don't be upset, I think it's adorable," Elizabeth purred with amusement. "Not the sort of thing you'd want to ask Santa for though. And a bit of a waste, considering."
"Considering what?" Sibella asked, recovering from her temporary mortification.
"Considering how easy it would be to steal a kiss from your human plaything. You've heard of mistletoe, haven't you?"
"Sure," Sibella cautiously nodded, familiar with the custom, "but a silly holiday ornament isn't going to change his mind about vampires."
"Ah, that's because you aren't using the good stuff!" Elizabeth intoned, her eyes lighting up.

"Just as the legends go, my dear. This is True Mistletoe, cut from the plant that felled a norse god. Hang this up, and when you meet the object of your desire beneath it he'll be compelled to give you the biggest, wettest kiss you can imagine. Watch your fangs!"
Sibella regarded the little festive ornament on her desk and felt a stirring of hope inside her breast. Her heart fluttered, which was a rare sensation considering it usually didn't beat at all. "Thank you!" she gushed, rising to give her sister a hug.
"Be careful with that, mind you," Elizabeth cautioned, and Sibella nodded quickly. After completing their hug Elizabeth turned to stride off into the snow-filled night. "I must be off I'm afraid, I have more shopping to complete before I catch my flight back to Romania. Ta-ta!"
"Merry Christmas!" Sibella waved after her. As soon as Elizabeth had gone she picked up the mistletoe and turned it over in her elegant fingers again and again. Oh yes, Christmas miracles do come true after all, or they would anyway with a little clever planning on her part. Now at last she had just the thing to give to the dashing Cadet Roper.

Naw, the Wolfman (Lawrence Talbot) was not any longer-lived than a normal human and didn't want to spread his curse either. Universal studios also didn't make as many sequels and spin-offs with the Wolfman franchise so as far as I'm aware there are no "Son of the Wolfman" movies. Hammer Horror also never remade "The Wolfman", although they did do other werewolf movies.
My Ghoul School universe uses a sort of "Teen Wolf" mythology for Winnie, if that's what you were asking.

"As I said, Phantasma, and the decision is already made. We're departing at 0600 tomorrow morning, so if you and your cohort have gifts to exchange I suggest you do it before Last Post."
Colonel Calloway turned and sat stiffly in his desk chair to resume double-checking the itinerary for tomorrow's expedition, only to find Phantasma superimposed on top of his desk and having picked up the garb of a 19th century British street urchin.
"Pwease suh, pwease rayconsidduh. Where's yuh bloomin' Christmas spirit, wot wot?"
"I believe I'm looking at her. And she'd best vacate from Academy grounds before I fetch the sanctified salts and holy water."
Phantasma frowned and glared back at the Colonel's practiced scowl for only a moment before she flinched and backed off. She drifted towards the nearest wall, choosing as always to make as dramatic an exit as possible. The premise was pretty bad, a lot like one of the Saturday Morning cartoons on lesser channels. Jimmy Two Shoes relying on dry retorts and unflappable cheery characters in grim situations.

The "devil" is a lunatic who thinks he's the devil and built a theme park around the idea of putting people in hell, becomes obsessed with breaking an ultra-nice family barring the 90's kid daughter. Everyone is just an actor.
