He probably does every other day, dude. How does that make you feel?

I don't have anything old. I kind of want to get a copy of Flash #123 eventually though.

I don't know, probably a signed booklet of newspaper strips Catherine Jeffery Jones did for a local San Fran paper. That or something like Copra #1 first printing since I jumped on it thinking there'd never be a second printing.

It doesn't matter what edition, it's probably Epic's Imprint and it's OOP. Though it might not be as valuable once Dark Horse starts their line since it'll likely be using the translations Epic did.

Beta Ray Bill's first appearance, I think.

Action Comics #1.
It's a reprint

and finally this one is a lot of fun, a collection of some of Jimmy's "weirdest" adventures, a lot of which have since been referenced in Superman lore, All Star Superman

I got Walking Dead #1 a few years ago. Could have gotten it for $40 back in the day, but I thought it was too expensive. Then my old shop found another copy and offered it to me first for like $200 plus a trade.

I also got from him a Killing Joke store promotional placard from 1986. Though I ever got the third printing of the original version. That was whatever copy he had back in the 90s.

The oldest book I ever bought, which I actually bought for a friend, were three old Tijuana Bibles from the 1930s.

Yeah, it's really weird. The interiors are nice, clever, Kirbyish, but nothing like the BWS he'd become.

Probably this, I guess. I've had it since I was a kid, my grandparents bought it for me. It's been bagged and boarded ever since so it's in really good condition still. I don't think it's that rare though, but it is cool.
>>
>>78296601
Pretty sure I have seen that in dollar bins.
>>
>>78296633
First print goes for like $80 if it's mint. Otherwise, it's worth about what it cost.
>>
Swamp Thing #1. It's not worth a great deal
>>
>>78291328
He's got some 19-year-old on his superdick right now. He's doing fine.

Although I did get a kick out of hearing when he was picked for Superman he was just like "Ok." and went back to WoW. Something like that.

Starman vol 3 Hardcover and probably the Nightwing Year One trade
>>
>rarest
Probably my Funk-O-Tron Battle Popes. 1st is signed by Kirkman.
>oldest
Tales of Suspense #69. 1st Titanium Man.
>highest value
Either my Amazing Spider-Man #300, or Batman Adventures #12.
>personal crown jewel
Iron Man #1 (1969) piss poor condition, but I don't give a fuck.
>>
I have an 8.0 Iron Fist #1

I honestly don't know if its worth much. I'm waiting for the show to come out before I decide to do anything with it.
>>
Justice League number 4.
Do I win?
I also have X-Men 39 from the sixties

This is probably the oldest I had.

I have Ambush Bug #1.
It's barely worth anything, but it's neat as hell.

And last week I got Action Comics #687, Superman #78, Adventures of Superman #501, and Superman The Man of Steel #22, all of the starts of the Reign of the Supermen arc.
They're even more worthless, but they're neat as hell and they all have their posters inside.

Floppies-3Feb2015.jpg
3 MB, 2394x2394
This is hardly a recent picture, but it's a solid look at the "rare" part of my floppies collection.

If I had to put a hard guess on any of these books having a worth, it would either be "52" #1 signed by three of the five writers, the colorist, and Dan Didio (I plan to eventually have it signed by everyone who worked on the book. Greg Rucka eludes me); the "Superman" book, whose cover I had signed by Neal Adams; or "Batman" #700, signed by Grant Morrison.

Other than that, I probably have about $40-at-resale-value of comics in this pile.
