this was easily the worst crossover of the past ten years everything besides thor losing his worthiness was immediately forgotten
Its clear that the writer didnèt even know what it was that made thor un-worthy as we still do not and never will know fury said because nobody has actually come up with it yet and never will.
fury as the new watcher has not showed up once since and likely no longer exists due to secret wars so that went nowhere
and female thor is nonsensical he obviously didnt know who the acual characters identity was until later on he decided it was the cancer chick but by that point he already showed the person who found the hammer picking it up off the moon.
HOW DID SOME HUMAN GIRL DYING OF CANCER GO TO THE MOON TO PICK UP THORS HAMMER AND BECOME THE NEW THOR
can somebody explain anything going on here? is there something im missing or is this writer just the biggest hack of all time pulling shit out of his ass as he goes along or setting up plot points he hasnt even figured out with the intentions of "revealing" (coming up with it) later on in the story but just forgetting?
wasn't jane on asgardia which is now around the moon
Also the watchers eyes have always been solid white but in this story theyre human eyes
Uatu died like a filthy dog, but at least he ethered Beast before he went.
Ultimately, it was a life well lived.

I liked the wacky teamups and eye based humor, thought the event was fun. Light, fluffy and without much substance but enjoyable. The comic book equivalent to angel food cake.

No, Fear Itself and Age of Ultron was worse. Original Sin is as bad as AvX though.

across different artists and time periods his eyes were always a solid color... then suddenly they get cut out of his head and look like this
>>78184503
forgot it
>>78184402
age of ultron was forgettable an inconsequential to the marvel universe from the beginning we knew it wasnt going to have any effect on anything it seemed like a self contained story...
avx had some good parts and brought about rightclops
fear itself was just whatever it wasnt offensibly bad
whereas original sin was just a blatant vehicle for editorial to shoehorn a bunch of changes to the universe while plauing up the nothing will be the same angle harder than every before only to IMMEDIATELY disregard and forget 90% of it
original sin was the equivalent or throwing a shitload of status quo changes at a wall and seeing what stuck
it was so underwritten that you could tell they came up with a bunch of plot points for the writer to figure out and actually write but he never did yet he still used them
>>78184687
for example fury whispering something to thor to make him lose his hammer and this fucking guy who hasn't been seen since and will never show up again
>>78184737
AND poor nick fury himself who was immediately forgotten about even though this was the big payoff of what the ENTIRE event was setting up
Really bad. The way they handled Fury was befuddling.

Original Sin at least felt like something happened within the series which was more than I could say about Age of Ultron. Fear Itself took what should've been cool moments but executed them in a banal fashion. AvX eventually gave us an interesting take on Cyclops, but Bloodlines introducing Hitman doesn't retroactively make Bloodlines good.
Now the aftermath of Original Sin made the series worthless and I agree, all it was was just to clear the deck of Watcher (part of the FF rights that Fox has) and Nick Fury Sr (cause they want to push Nick Fury Jr more) and get Foster Thor setup. Sort of like no matter how much it seemed like Hickman planned Secret Wars for years, it was really a way to get the Fantastic Four off the table while Fox had them. I still would rather read it over Age of Ultron though.

I respectfully disagree. This was truly the worst of all.
All events are awful
>>78184106
What happened to the original sin of Sam Wilson, Kitty Pryde, Iceman, Storm, Black Widow, Magik, and Exterminatrix?
>>78184808
This event was just an excuse to get rid of OG Nick. And not only that, but bring about retarded plot drama for all the books that had tie-ins.
Orb will never be seen again until he's a side character with no mention of this story
Nick V1 will never be seen again
We will never know what made Thor unworthy
Bucky will never be important again
What actually stuck from this event? Silk & unworthy Thor and that's it, right?

as far as I remember that accurately sums it up

NO FUCK YOU, Their is nothing fucking wrong with FI as a Thor+Cap mythos story.

yeah but where most marvel events are horrible like a 9/11 original sin was like the holocaust in terms of horribleness

Sodomy would be my guess.

>ice man remembers back to the 60's when he was gay but too scared to come out so he made ice dicks and icemen copies to fuck his ass as forms of masturbation... jean finds out because she's psychic so he begs her to remove the memories/gayness from his mind and her own. she does so
>years go on and he turns into the 616 iceman we know and love and eventually jean dies a bunch of times.
>then the young version of himself back when he was making ice dicks to fuck his own ass comes to the present alongside jean who discovers his secret here in the present instead
>they then confront modern day bobby and force him to remember what the older deader jean hid away
>>78187233
>but bobby reveals he already knew and accepted it from when he saw the original sin of him using an ice dildo on his ass while calling out angels name as jean watches using psychic powers while fucking cyclops

Another night of /co/'s unintended gay writing prompts.
Y'know, that thing we do on days ending in "-y".
