That's so unreal in it's uninspired awfulness that I didn't know whether to believe it at first, but then I looked at the guy's Twitter, and he was so excited to see the movie, up until the time he actually saw an early showing of it, and then it was nothing but bashing. I had already known that it was going to be bad by that point, but that was the moment I knew just how deep the pit would be.

I don't think much of that turned out to be in the final cut, but that was heavily edited, and I'm pretty sure the Negative Zone and Annihilus were in the mix somewhere at one point, because the whole thing is about dimensional travel.

They were early drafts so things changed over time. One of the earliest drafts had Galactus included (which might've been why they didn't trade Galactus and Silver Surfer for an extension on Daredevil). But some things match up such as Doom getting left in the N-Zone the first time around.
And of course a lot of stuff got cut out because of the conflict between Fox and Trank (and budget cuts). Trank originally was going to put in the Fantasticar (which was supposed to be a payoff to Young Reed trying to invent a flying car at first).

See, now I'm sad this didn't make it in, because it would have just added another layer of stupid.
Learning about the reshoots was funny, because of the terrible wig, so it's a fun game to watch Sue's hair magically transform between scenes, much like a comic with Greg Land's art.

even without that its utterly stupid to use a car frame for a fucking sci-fi transport, where the tech itself is so cutting edge that more money when into it than an entire fleet of airplanes, so they could clearly make a sutible frame from scratch

Also remember that there were some apparent last minute changes, too. Doom being called Victor Von Doom instead of Victor Domashev is one. Tim Blake Nelson's character was supposed to be Harvey Elder, the Mole Man and interviews and stuff even said so. But then when the final film was released, they changed his last name to Allenand killed off his character. It's likely the original intention was for Doom to mutate Harvey Elder into Mole Man form.
