So how is the Carol and her brown people comic?
>>78157695
in my opinion it hasn't gone far enough for me to make a real judgment, but it is kind of shit.
The art is good though
>>78157840
>The art is good though
I love Rocafort, too. I'd read simply for art but America annoys fuck out of me.
>>78157695
Waste of a good artist.
didn't like the last issue so I'm dropping it
I liked the first issue, haven't gotten to the 2nd one yet
>>78157967
She is really, really annoying
It's actually a big disappoint because these are all characters (other than Spectrum) who I either dislike or am indifferent to, but I had really high hopes for Ewing and Rocafort to make them likable
>>78157695
It's good as long as you're not the type that calls anything that messes with their headcanon to be a retcon.
>>78157695
Half of the characters annoy me
>>78157695
It's actually America's brown people comic.
>>78158479
>>78157967
America wasn't really prominent in issue 2. It was more BP focused.
>/co/ hates minority character that's less than 5 years old
>more news at 11
>>78159768
Their skin color changes nothing if they're written like shit. Back to tumblr anon.
>>78157695
it sucks
It's good
I like it so far. Beyonders next issue. Arts 10/10.
>>78159802
She's written fine, that's your opinion bro.
I didn't say /co/ hated Ms. America because she's a minority, I was just riffing on an obvious pattern.

Christ, way to be subtle with your pandering Marvel. Though I don't have any beef with Carol finding her niche, even if it's by being the worst character ever with the second worst fanbase of all time.
>>78159988
First worst better be Spider-Man or you're a humongous faglord.
>>78159988
>even if it's by being the worst character ever with the second worst fanbase of all time.
>worst character
>not Silk.
>second worst fanbase
>worse than Doom.
>>78157695
Pretty
Oh so pretty
>>78159768
Anon please, like all boards /co/ loves chocolate and delicious brown and this comic gives us two of them.

Bad opinions is becoming the norm for /co/. tsk tsk
>>78160136
>bad opinions
get the fuck out of here please
What did you think was so good about it, aside from the art which I already said looks nice?
I'd watch the porn adaptation
>>78160168
It has PoCs.
>>78160168
>a team of people whose skills all serve a purpose to their directive
>character dynamics is respectful to all of their histories (except for Carol, but she's the worst character there so who cares)
>is narratively filling in a void in the MU that FF has purportedly left empty and it doing it by showing not telling
>>78160168
A team of superheroes formed a plan, combined their powers, and fucked Galactus.
I like it so far. Isn't great, but I like it.
>>78157695
I didn't care for the second issue. It was way too exposition heavy, and Ewing does not do good pseudo-science. I'm waiting for the third issue to see if that's going to be the norm of if it's still in it's introductory phase.
>>78160136
>these opinions clash with mine so they're bad
>>78157695
>Only a White Woman can lead a team of multicultural superheros, as she knows what's best for them
>>78163122
Despite that cover I would very much say Blue Marvel and Black Panther are the leaders of the team.
>>78157695
>Out of my way DC shits, here's how real diversity is done
>>78163141
#2 made me think Black Panther was the leader
>>78157695
On one hand, Carol has her body back it seems.
>>78157695
Marvel panders the most but they have racist fans.
>Irony
>>78167401
Marvel doesn't have racist fans, they just don't like it when comics are trying to be progressive for the sake of being progressive.
>>78157695
I like it so far, but it could be better.
>>78167536
I don't think this has anything to do with diversity, these are characters that Ewing honestly likes plus Carol.
>>78163122
you are aware this is a varient cover right
>>78164393
Black Panther is the Iron Man of the team. He's the main financier and the public face.
Prefer New Avengers so far but I love anything Ewing. I don't have a problem with how easily Galactus was taken out last issue and one of my comic turn ons is when a writer goes on and on about us some scientific shit using made up words so I love that about this book too.
