/co/ can you recommend comics with ugly art that turned out great because of story?
I usually limit myself to cool art when it comes to print but now that digital exist, I'm willing to try out some of these ugly motherfuckers.

Spurrier's Legacy. Personally I think Huat and whoever colored this work well together but most people agree that the art isn't very good.
PAD's first run on X-Factor had Larry David on it and damn was it awful. Great writing though. Same goes for Spider-Man 2099.

Current Ivar, Timewalker series from Valiant. I've been enjoying it so far. Nothing great, but it's fun. The art though, I just hate the coloring in that book.
