Why does everyone want Batman to be Iron Man?
Doesn't clunky bulky armor completely go in the face of him being a shadowy urban kung fu detective? Batman is slim, quick and skilled enough to disarm you or intimidate you into missing your shot, he doesn't take it directly in the chest with his kevlar tank armor and then lumber over to you and club you over the head like a brawler.

Again, technically not power armor, but still a commonly cited offender. He's doing his thing in the middle of a city-wide riot, and later a paramilitary invasion. Kevlar doesn't cut the mustard here.
