Do you find cartoon characters attractive? I think every one would say yes to a degree, but I realized that at least for me it's not that simple. In theory yes, but in practice (fapping) it's not really the case all the time. I mean sure, when the characters have more detailed designs like in lots of anime, avatar or kim possible then yes. But when it comes to a bit more simplistic designs like pic related, or I dunno, Frankie Foster or Marie Kanker, it just seems the designs are far too minimalistic/cartoonish for the dick to really get fooled by it.
>>
That's what imagination is for. Then there's the character's personality, which could play a big part in someone's sexual fantasy. Voice and speech also plays a part for some people.

I think animated females are fucking hot.
>>
80% of what makes me want to fuck is in the head.

Like, not to say I turn down vapid yet attractive chicks DTF, but I'd rather a 6/10 with a 10/10 personality than a 10/10 titty monster with a 6/10 personality.

Which translates to characters too.
>>
>>78077776
Actually, there was a thread once on /co/ I believe where an anon was claiming that minimalist women was his fetish.
I remember everyone started trying to draw the simplest design that could be construde as a woman and sexy.

It takes some real skill to pull it off without going off model on a lot of things, but it is still doable I suppose.
Then again, sometimes they only need a small tweak off model to start to show, like your pic being overall right but she has defined elbows and knees

I love simplistic designs, especially when R34 is as close to the original art style as possible.
>>
>>78077880
Damn, do you have more of those?
>>
>>78077776
It's a test of imagination. You have to be able to see beyond exactly what's presented to you. Like, Marceline is basically a spoon with a wig, but I never really see her like that. Based only on what's presented, I can actually see a sexy vampire lady with long, pretty black hair. It's like a visual abbreviation, and instead of t b h, it's hair-voice-personality. You see it and it doesn't look shit like it's supposed to but you understand the meaning anyway.

When it comes to actually jacking it to cartoon characters, though, >>78077918 is right. I've seen on-model AT porn, and I can't even begin to touch my junk to that shit unless I'm already worked up in a frenzy. A lot of times I have to rely on an artist's imagination to interpret a character's design in a sexually pleasing way. Not all the time, but definitely for particularly minimal/wonky art styles. I can still be attracted to characters while they're in their original styles, but fapping requires even a slight change.
>>
>>78077846
Sadly for me, looks take a major part. I would think that I'd find Marceline hotter (based on the character, personality) than Korra, but that's not the case. The figure, eyes and facial features are just too simplified.

Which is weird cause in art itself I like minimalism. Even my favorite anime creater, Yuasa works with designs that are much more minimal than the usual ones in japanese animation nowadays and since the 80s or so.
>>78077918
Damnn, I wonder if he was truthful. Though I guess the degree might differ. After I like anime chicks or the other I mentioned and obviously they are simpler in looks compared to real life women.
>>78077996
Here's the paradox for me. On the one hand I totally dislike when porn with the characters looks different from the original design. On the other I don't find minimal designs attractive. There is lots of porn out there with more realistic or detailed Frankies or Marcelines but knowing the actual charactes and how they look kills me.
>>
>>78078533
Well, so I guess you're more like me. With the first part I totally agree but it just doesn't apply with the wanking.
On the other hand there's the thing I mentioned in the last paragraph here:
>>78078624
Because of that what you mentioned in the second part doesn't really apply to me. I don't really interpret Marceline in a different way than she does actually present herself in the cartoon. In fact I like the way she looks and the whole design sense of the show. Heck, that's a big reasons for why I like animation at all, because there's so much more room for creativity when it comes to designs, it can be realistic but also minimalist, overly aesthetic, surreal etc. But sexually it has to be a bit more closer to the real thing.
>>
>>78077776

I think real-life people are unattractive.

Cartoons are as perfect as I imagine them to be.

I can count the amount of times I've fapped to real-life porn/cutouts on both my hands.

Agree your statement. Sometimes, the cartoon does not even give you "human" characters, so it is totally up to your imagination to do the job.

It doesnt need to have anything else.

well, anon
an hourglass figure is an amazing thing that can't be done too easily in the real world

please post examples though

Yes but most things /co/ finds sexy are fucking weird.

I don't get how people can find any FoP or Johnny Test character sexy or anyone that looks like they're put together from pipe cleaners. At least weebs have the excuse to say at least their characters are anatomically correct.
>>
>>78079102

Works age board, jackass!
>>
>>78077776
Not really, because they're generally objectively "nice" looking because symmetrical and eye pleasing. I tend to find cartoon characters lightly attractive as soon as they represent physical and character traits I love, like your pic related.

thanks to /co/ I started fapping to Marceline and Bubblegum years ago though

Maybe a bit more, but it's really just a curve. It's still too simplistic for me and the face makes it a totally broken deal.
>>78078830
I don't think I have that. But I do fap more to hentai and animated porn. But that's rather because of variety. I mean in hentai you'll have different characters in each title in rl porn you'll obviously have the same actresses playing in multiple movies. So it's harder to find something new.
>>78079033
Besides the fact that it's dexter, it has too many straight lines to be called an hourglass figure.
>>78079102
>>78079267
Well, their sillhouttes are more realistic I'd say. Sure, they might be idealistic, like as if you took the best figured woman in the world, but it's still kind of possible. It's obvious that most cartoons have more minimal styles than that.
>>
>>78079267
>>78079411
It's no different from the Greeks and Romans carving statues where everyone is perfect and muscular even philosophers. Aside from the face it's usually well proportioned unless it's being drawn by one of those artists who's entire shtick is drawing weird.

True and even the faces are usually a bit more realistic. Since they have discernable features, eyes won't be just round circles, mouths don't grow to humongous sizes etc.
>>78079701
>muh old days
>>
>>78077776
The more simple the design is, the easier it is for your mind to do the rest of the work and fill in what gets you off specifically.
>>
Cartoon women are nothing more to me than fap material. That whole "waifu" nonsense is all just a bunch of hooey.

>I used to fall in love with fictional characters, they made my stomach flutter and I had fantasies of the stuff we'd do together.
>One day I realized that any love I felt for them was just a combination of a pandering, idyllic female representation with downplayed flaws combined with my own projection of what I want a partner to provide for me.
>Now I feel nothing.

Honestly, I wish I could go back to the way things were. I don't really get any benefit from seeing through the matrix.
>>
>>78080425
I don't think most people treat the waifu thing as seriously as you think. It's mainly just people picking their favorite female character. People make charts because making chart and cateregorizing and looking for art, screens is fun. I mean, you can kind of crush on a character, but you still realize the character is fictional. Just like when you get sad someone in a show or film dies, it doesn't mean you can't discern fiction from reality.

That is very accurate to what happened. I think the worst people can do is to literally marry someone in fiction, and it seems someone already accomplished that.

>>
>>78079071
I should probably have crosslinked this from /aco/, it's a bit racy.
>>
>>78080425
Up to a point, maybe. I'd say that you can artistically extrapolate more the more simple a character is, but in that case you're not really attracted to the character but to an interpretation of the character. As far as physical attraction to the character itself goes, it already needs to have some of the stuff you like built in. Personality is a different story, and people can find geometric shapes attractive if they act kawaii enough. That is in spite of the simplicity, though, not because of it.
