Why is this cartoon so shit? This isn't what Bugs deserves.
>>78071583
because they thought people didn't like the last one but it actually was a very good series
>>78071652
LTS wasn't great but it was better than this.
>>78071667
I agree it wasn't great, but it was very good, even the muppets tried to mimic and took the good parts from it
>show is called wabbit besides youknowwho never appearing
>intro is about Bugs rabbit hole even though he lives in a goddamn house in the show
>>78071685
It's a fucking mess
>>78071583
The "property" has lived long enough to become the villain. Do you really think it is possible to have a character invented 70 years ago, make stuff with him for all those years, and never devolve into shit? This is why things should be put to rest. Even long-running series have to end some time.
>>78072225
looks like anon never watched the new mickey mouse shorts
>>78071583
Millenials.
And sjw's.
Always blame both or either of those two.
>>78072285
A. What do Mickey Mouse shorts have to do with THIS show?
B. Mickey Mouse is a unique case, since he never had a personality. The new shorts could have worked for ANY comedy character. Replace Mickey with most comedy characters, and there will be no difference.
>>78072294
Nah, it's just animators are lazy fucks today.
>they all live in some city now
What the actual fuck?
>>78071583
>tfw nippon is doing gag and slapstick better than Looney Tunes
Feels bad
>>78071674
It had some good parts alright.
>>78072385
To be fair Looney Tunes is pretty much dead since the 60's.
>Bugs trespasses on the White House lawn
>Vice President is evil for wanting him kicked out
>Bugs and that squirrel trespass on and vandalise a baseball field and inturrupt a game
>baseball player is evil for wanting them kicked out
>>78072985
What about Tiny Toons? Or am I the only one who thinks that was great. I mean it might be Nostalgia, yeah, but Gogo and Plucky were always on point. And I know everyone hates Babs cuz she was nothing more than a constant pop culture reference, but I liked her character too
>>78073087
Tiny Toons was great. It would be nice if WB would reboot it.
>Grim Rabbit is evil because he has to kill Bugs as part of his job
>>78072324
>Mickey Mouse is a unique case, since he never had a personality.
>>78073029
>>78073074
>>78073122
Are you all describing old shorts and completely missing the point of Bugs' character, or are these all descriptions of Wabbit episodes?
>>78071583
>no Daffy
>shitty squirrel sidekick
There's your problem.
>>78073169
They're Wabbit episodes.
The show sucks because Bugs as a character is awful on his own nowadays (Squeaks is 100% expendable). Without a Daffy element to come in and actually screw around with stuff, Bugs is constantly on his own level and we're just left to watch him deal with the idiots around him.
>>78073169
Old Bugs is never annoying just for the sake of being annoying.
>>78073245
are you serious?
>>78071583
>show goes back to it's roots with a funny bugs and comedy slapstick instead pop culture references and drama shit
>millenials get mad
I'm glad this show exist, I'm so fucking glad, also I'm enjoying it a lot.
>>78073599
>millenials
I don't think you know what that word means.
>>78073660
here's your reply
>>78073599
congrats on shit taste
>>78073245
He kind of is. He's a dick. An obnoxious dick who has a habbit of pissing off the wrong people.
>>78073489
>>78074294
The main rule of Bugs Bunny was always that he never starts the conflict.
His antics must always be justified first.
>>78074294
Only when someones fucking with him.
>>78071583
Wabbit's problem is that it wants to be like something old and it doesn't quite know how. It feels more like a show TRYING to be like old bugs bunny than a show that is like old school bugs bunny.
The humor, The slapstick, the sharpness, The timing. The Characters. Everything is Dulled. If its problem was simply that it lacked only one of those things, it'd still be a good show. But because it lacks ALL of those things, it just feels like a watered down Bugs Bunny. I feel like changes need to be made most at the writing and story boarding levels, because beyond that this show could be all right. Maybe not amazing, but decent.
>>78074333
Yeah, but often times, the conflict starts because he popped into a place he's not wanted or is causing an issue simply by being there. While from his perspective he's completely faultless, it's more that he often kind of oblivious to the world around him until conflict happens.
>>78074333
have u never watched a bugs bunny cartoon before 1950?
The music sounds like it belongs in an educational cartoon for preschoolers
>>78075483
Have you? Give me an example when Bugs starts the conflict in any classic shorts
>>78075848
Not him, but I remember an episode where Bugs starts shit with Elmer with no good reason, but it was prototype-Bugs so I guess that doesn't count.
>>78071583
Is this the LT where Lola is a wierd stalker girl? I liked when she was dating Duffy for one episode
>>78071583
shit is all that bugs deserves.
>>78076052
She was weird and obsessive in the Looney Tunes Show.
Don't remember her dating Daffy, though. But she did run off with Pepe onceonly to dump him later.
>>78076110
She wanted to give him advice on how to date the female duck. but in the process of teaching him she fell for him when he was practicing pick up line on her
>>78075848
Rebel Rabbit
Tortoise beats Hare
The Wacky Wabbit
Wabbit Trouble
and so on
>>78076154
I'm pretty amused by this.
>>78073599
>instead pop culture references
Clearly you haven't watched Wabbit at all.
Bugs has aphone all the time, taking selfies and a lot of episodes use pop culture references like such.
It's funny how TLS somehow seemed less pop cultury by comparison.
>>78076240
This.
I fucking hate smartphones in cartoons.
>>78076154
I think Tina/Bugs and Lola/Duffy would have been a more interesting couples. But of course WB knows shit about chemistry and could never imagine such thing as interspecies relationship
http://spinoff.comicbookresources.com/2015/12/09/wabbit-cast-producer-say-classic-looney-tunes-characters-fit-like-a-glove/
>thinking this shit can compare to the classics
>>78074333
>>78074428
^This.
If wabbit wants to be like the old shorts so bad how come Bugs doesn't crossdress in it?
>>78077323
I liked her prototype version more
It really bothers me how the show it's structured. The show itself is like half an hour but the episodes themselves are even less than 11 minutes, but rather than just play them together they show the opening and closing credits like 5 fucking times after each episode.
what's the point of this? To air the episodes separately somewhere else? But they don't even do that. It just seems so bizarre.
>>78077912
I guess they're used as fillers.
>>78072324
>since he never had a personality
Mickey was actually much like Clark Kent, the every day man. Manchildren can't possibly relate to that, reaosn why Autism Time and Steven Jewniverse lead the charts.
>>78077323
Who is this?
>>78078268
Some fox grill from wabbit
>>78077323
Did she ever appear again?
>>78078320
Not yet.
>>78078320
Nope and she probably never will
>>78071583
Proof that anyone born after 1985 is fucked in the head. God damn generation x
>>78078505
what
>>78072457
That it did.
>>78079023
Too slutty
>>78078237
>Autismtime
>Steven Jewniverse
Wew lad, those are some mighty original words you typed there! I feel so insulted!
I prefer loser Bugs to be honest. He's much more likeable.
It's not horrible
>>78076064
But he didn't do nuffin bad.
it's meh, it hasn't done anything to try and make me violently angry on purpose
>>78071583
It's boring
Why is it boring, Looney Tunes shouldn't be boring
