Ted will always do the right thing, no matter what it costs him, and he'll never get credit for it. That's because doing the right thing is all that matters. No kid in the DC universe will ever dress up as the Blue Beetle for Halloween, an no gorgeous starlets will throw themselves at him head over heels in love. He's just a guy doing right thing for the right reasons, and never forgetting how to have fun doing it. Bruce Wayne may be the peak human, but Ted Kord's the best one.
