They're going for a Teen Titans (the animated series) vibe with this Kori, so obviously they'd want to keep Kori's relationship with Dick intact, but Roy doesn't matter to them at all. Notice how there was no mention of any sort of fight or break up between Dick and Kori? As if they loved each other, and then Dick faked his death and just disappeared for a while? Yeah, they're going against continuity, for the story they want to tell (I prefer this story to previous continuity as well, so I'm not complaining).
