Face looks a little too much like the cave trolls from the LOTR movies, but otherwise I'm alright with it. Looks like he shoots lasers out of his face too, which is neato. Read that he will become spikier as he progresses in the movie, so there's that as well. Cautiously optimistic for the movie, will reserve final judgement for when I actually go to see it.

Well Doomsday's whole trick is his body adapting to better survive and kill. In the comics he was introduced in some weird suit, punching a wall at the end of every issue. Each time his glove is tearing away and bone shards forming on his knuckles.

Go do some research about the making of that movie. He was meticulous as hell while making it and had the comic with him on set at all times. If it wasn't for him you would have gotten Watchmen set in modern day with Adrian as a clear villain who is killed by Nite Owl at the end because the studio didn't want shades of grey. The fact that it was as faithful as it was is because of him fighting with the studio to keep as much as he could.
