I love how casuals think Miller hates Superman because Batman beat him for few seconds while Superman was about as weak as he can get in a comic without being outright depowered. On top of that the fact that he's clearly shown to be a broken man in TDKR just as Bruce is (on top of the parents shit, I mean) because of traumatic events in their Superhero careers, and all he needed was 90 seconds of punching (something he's very used to and not really bothered by) to get the kick in the pants to be a real hero again.
DK2 also shows that Miller clearly likes Superman, but these people either haven't read it or hate it because "The figures are not house style so the art is unreadable over all"

To be honest, if it all looked like the arm and leg areas in game, where it's textured but skin-tight, it'd work, but for some reason they decided to have the torso area have all this armour.

As far back as the 90's Miller's always wanted to get around to doing a Superman story. For the purposes of Dark Knight, Superman had to be a foe. In fact if you look at the early draft of the plot, Superman came off a lot better than in the final.

I think this is what I love about him (at least recently). Sin City is Miller making cool comics by mashing noir cliches together and drawing balls to the wall cool shit. ASBAR is an absurd extension of his Batman who is hilariously insane. Holy Terror even has it's moments that I found enjoyable even if most of it was trash.
His older stuff is a lot more subtle. Ronin and his Daredevil are both great and don't rely on the same level of insanity that his modern books feature

His problem is that his character designs are dog shite and his art has the potential to be improved immensely but he refuses to accept criticism.
