What's Woodstock's appeal?
Why do people love him so much when all he does is follow Snoopy and either gets caught up in Snoopys slapstick or is just an asshole to Snoopy
Him and Snoopy are more valuable then the entirety of the cast of Peanuts.

Woodstock is cute (Cute!) but he also represents a foil to Snoopy, which is good.

In terms of what?

They're memorable icons. Believe me if you lived in Rosa which was Schultz hometown you'd understand.
>>77812141
It's a sad story but he is snoopys responsibility

Literal brand recognition.
They're known worldwide, as opposed to any of the C-lister kids nobody ever cared about.

>c-lister kids
I hope you don't mean Charlie brown, Linus and Lucy
I mean characters like Shroder or Peppermint Party I get
But people know who Charlie Brown and Linus are
>>77812141
He's a failure orphan who instead of going out into the world couldn't make any friends so returned to someone that didn't love him and through time developed a relationship and dependency through snoopy
His life is hard and he might have some mental trauma but no matter what happens in his life he will always forgive snoopy and snoopy will always understand that this little fuck up is all he has and has chosen to take care of him for life nothing can create a permanent happinesss for Woodstock only going day by day starting over very time the sun rises
People like Woodstock because of how pathetic his life is but he carries on just like Charlie brown
>>77812199
Charlie Brown is far more valuable.

Storywise, sure. Merchandising? Snoopy and Woodstock are more prominent.
