Reed and Sue's wedding was forced. It was just an excuse to get every Marvel character together at once (not hating at all, but let's be real).
Scott and Jean's wedding (and entire relationship) was forced. Scott was supposed to retire from the X-Men and live happily ever after with his wife and child. Then because someone decided they had to be together Jean was resurrected, Scott abandoned his family, and they got married. You want to talk about forced? Let's start with that.
Northstar's wedding wasn't forced. He and Kyle's relationship had been progressing naturally and they were ready for marriage. You could argue that it should have happened X amount of issues earlier or later than it did, and you could be right, but the wedding (and relationship) was not forced.
