There are some undeniably great parts of the series, people here are just mad that a series that had the obvious potential to be better than its critically acclaimed predecessor fell short due to a handful of mistakes between the writing and the corporate handling. As far as i i know the general consensus is that Book 3 was the best season and book 2 was the worst.

I could never buy into Kuvira being a threat. Especially not when she doesn't use her army at any point to get an advantage. I also don't agree with the Kuvira/Korra parallel, as i see it they're not alike at all beyond being women. So Kuvira is for me tied with Vaatu/Unalaq for worst villain.
Amons reveal was dissapointing but atleast he was impactful up to that point, and i think he was a great villain until his reveal.
Zaheer and the Red Lotus were my favorites, i just wish they had been given some more focus. Like why they're following Zaheer, their work with Unalaq, P'lis early life. Anything on Ghazan and Ming Hua would have been welcome aswell.

Despite all my hate for LoK and the sincere regret i feel about watching it, I would like to see a spin-off series about those four. A single season that shows how they met, what drove them to become anarchists, how their relationships with each other developed, etc. and ending with them getting caught and locked up. Unlike Korra and her "friends", they actually seem to have some chemistry.

He started to live like them and traveled the world founding Ghazan and the others.
