Thor: God of Thunder #12 is one of my favorite single issues to come out in the last decade. For those who don't remember it, it involves Thor giving a man on Death Row an extinct Asgardian fruit for a Last Meal, offering meat from a mythic beast to starving children, and giving seeds to an almost extinct tree to a nun to grow.
Save the last part where it starts the Malekith arc, its one of the comfiest things I've read.
