I don't even know if this is obscure, I just don't remember anyone even acknowledging it's existance.
It was set on an earth colony planet, terra nova or some shit. Apparently it was supposed to go from a 12 episode arc gladiator tournament between the south and the north countries into a fullscale war and after that they would join forces to fight an earth invasion. There's some random old show I've been having flashbacks of for a while.
It was old school CGI, where the characters were a cross between futuristic X-Game stars and a high-tech superhero team. The villain was always using mechanical bugs and whatnot, and the hero kept having those Sherlock moments where everything freeze-frames so he can analyze what to do. I remember all that, but I have no idea what it was called.

I need help remembering two movies
One is a 2d film from the 80's (or maybe earlier) about a mouse that goes on a voyage around the world for god knows what reason. Cats try to stop him, and at some point he goes bullfighting, and another time there's some fight scene on the docks (near a lighthouse maybe?). He wins in the end, gets a girl.
The other is about several cats, living in Europe I think. A black male cat wants to marry a female cat, and this other male cat wants to save her. Gets seemingly offed at some point, comes back, and saves the girl as the male cat leaves on a train (or maybe he got stuffed into a box).
I'm sorry I'm being so vague, but this is probably the best place to post this.

There is a significant push for Canadian broadcasters to air Canadian shows over foreign series. There are some laws that force them to air a certain percentage of Canadian broadcasting, because of this they wind up airing a season or two of mediocre shows that were made on a shoestring budget before people start hating it and they decide to get ANOTHER mediocre show to take it's place.
It use to be not so bad back in the late 80s to early 90s because American shows that had voice work done in Canada counted and there was a good voice acting scene in Vancouver and Toronto at the time.

It wasn't until they were playing it on Showtime (I think?) that I watched the rest of the second season.Basically the series ended with them teleporting the Beast Planet far away to save themselves. The last shot of the series is the Beast Planet coming upon another world, very much like how the series started.

I find it amusing that some of these shows were huge in Russia and are still beloved classics due to them airing on russian Jetix.
That fucking panda cartoon, by the way, is so obscure I couldn't find the entire english dub for it and had to watch some episodes in Russian. Probably the cheapest animation I have ever seen, the plot makes little to no sense (there is a possibility that chinese version was the original and the english dub just didn't give a crap about plot), and yet it had continuity, nice voice acting for the most part and Hopper, my first husbando. 5/10, might rewatch some best boy episodes eventually.
I'm not even sure this had ever aired anywhere but in China and Russia. There is an english dub but only five or so episodes can be found online. Basically a very weird chinese mecha show. Pretty bad CGI, but at least the robots look passable. Two versions with different mechas (and some changes in early episodes) exist - one, which had mechas that resembles toys and turned into cars, was presumably aired only in China, the other, with actually passable mechas, was released both in China and overseas. Despite being intended as a typical mecha show, it had some surprisingly unusual plot twists, a big emphasis on comedy and was rather weird overall, with that mad juggalo scientist, that fucked up alien dog and cute alien jellyfish mascot being the final boss. Also, Nino best trap.
