tl;dr Sufjan Stevens put out a critically-acclaimed album titled, 'Illinois,' that dealt with topics loosely analogous and birthed by the state.
In the original album cover art, Superman was present flying through the sky. However, due to a DC lawsuit, he was replaced by balloons later on.
Looks like Marvel is having a bit of fun and letting their Chicago-born Superman be on the cover instead.
Perhaps it's time for a thread about superheroes in music?
