"G. W. Bridge" is truly a name from another era of comics. COMICS, EVERYONE.
>>
I know we're in Frank mode but I have some Legion stuff!

The LOSH is going to be in the next LEGO JL movie!

http://www.comicbookresources.com/article/lego-justice-league-cosmic-clash-creators-wont-stop-adding-pieces-to-the-dc-toy-box

and Levitz did a little interview about his time on Legion

http://13thdimension.com/long-live-the-legion-back-to-the-future-with-paul-levitz-2/

>Paul: Well, I guess the objective answer to it is there isn’t a regular Legion title these days. So, one way or another we disappointed the readers. I think there was a fairly unimpressed reaction to the work I did coming back on the series about four or five years ago. I certainly contributed to its failings. It’s hard to keep things around forever.

>Whether the Legion is simply a concept that has outlived its time or whether it just needs someone to execute it in a new and wonderful way, you could argue either side of it.

>I’d like to believe that somebody will step up in the next few years, do a new run of it. And people will remember that, love that and mine will fade into history. But that’s fine.

Tim Seeley went on a podcast a couple days ago and talked about Grayson, and I finally got around to listening to it

He didn't give much info but he talked about Robin War a bit, BRE and child soldiers, how he and King work together on the title, that Grayson controversy from a couple weeks back, AND how Seeley thought some Wildstorm characters where very fitting for Grayson

It's a very solid adaption of DQ mechanics into DW mechanics, and also British voice actors for most of the cast. Ultimately, it's still a Warriors game, and it won't do if those aren't your jam, but I think it's more developed in the gameplay/boss department compared to Hyrule, at the cost of less characters.

There's going to be a PC port, because Squeenix is making PC ports a thing for more franchises now, but I'm playing PS4 and current-gen 3D winds up working pretty well.

>What controversy?
There was a page from Grayson #13 and some people went to twitter about it to complain about it. Said the writers were abusing the character and that's horrible and why haven't they acknowledged it's horrible, etc. It was personal for some and that's why they and others got more worked up on it.
Though on the podcast Seeley said that, in fact, it was meant to be showing how little privacy Dick really has. I case nobody got it by reading it. Which some didn't.

>>77624484
>any mention of which other Wildstorm characters?
Nah, the podcast person just asked why they included Midnighter, Apollo, Ladytron, etc and Seeley said how well they just fit in Grayson. Like Wildstorm had more trends like technology, human engineering, etc and stuff like that. I see what he means by it

The very first thing I ever pitched to DC was a mini called 'Kicks, featuring Cass Cain Batgirl, Mary Marvel, and Stargirl.

Stargirl spent two pages explaining bubble gum to Cass, who immediately weaponizes it.

I am bummed, though they were right to nix it, the plot needed a LOT of work (it was before I had written Deadpool).

Mike Carlin read it, he was pretty fair. But girl-lead comics were a tough sell, and it needed work.

When the New52 happened and there were so few female creators and titles, I re-pitched it as the Baby Birds of Prey.

think the new cast was Cass, Mary, Stargirl, Misfit, Black Alice and Bumblebee.

>James Tynion IV: So what's happening right now is now, Jason Todd and Tim Drake are off on their adventure that's going to end up bringing in characters that no one's expecting to show up in the series, and I'm very excited for people to finally find out who we're bringing in here — Cassandra Cain's not the only character who's coming back to continuity in this story.

>Nrama: Another character a lot of people are guessing resulted from that list you had, when Dick saw his name and other Bat-characters. The name Jean-Paul was on there. Could we look toward that name meaning something?

>Tynion: If eagle-eyed readers caught that, they might see something connected to that question play out over the next few weeks. So stay tuned in the book. There will be some surprises in store for you.
