Don't know how canon it is anymore but there was an old movie about the Goofy family tree that used to play often on some kids channel on my TV back in the day. Just like how Scrooge McDuck (and Donald, etc.) has a very well-defined family history, the movie claimed Goofy did too and went through a bunch of characters throughout history.
