My first ever Tintin book and a personal favourite, but something that always threw me off with this is how is the meteor floating?
Obviously you've got to give Herge a big bit of leeway because this was written in the 40's, just like you do with the Moon stories, but I never could get a head around that part.

I saw some of the Belvision cartoons, I wouldn't call them better or bad, but they're interesting. Like you mentioned, Calculus was in it, and he was in pretty much every single Belvision adaptation alongside Haddock, even if they weren't even meant to be introduced yet. So you get to see some sort of "what if" scenario with how one of the stories that didn't have either Haddock or Calculus would turn out if they were in it. I disliked how Calculus didn't always have hearing issues, and how he only had them once in a single adaptation out of all of them.
