For a year and then some. Fraction left the book and Allred (not Michael, some other guy) picked up the scripting duties following Fraction's notes. He was pretty bad and got the book canceled but he had balls, that's for sure. I don't think any satellite book in decades was allowed to get someone as A-list as Doom and have the heroes beat them up like it's nothing.
Just look at this page. After Scott removes Vic's mask and pummels him to near-death state, the fucking Living Tribunal descends on Earth just to tell Doom how much the latter sucks. Amazing.

So he passed his notes onto Allred and his brother to wrap it up since the book was gonna be relaunched anyway, and he had started setting up Inhumanity and had to do Inhuman before that turned into a clusterfuck with Fraction going one way and Marvel going the other. It wasn't so much as that he couldn't handle one more book, it's that the Inhuman book became a clusterfuck and ended up taking all of his time. Even prior to Soule taking over it and the delays the came with it, the Inhuman book had delays under Fraction and it hadn't even been published yet. Fraction wanted to do something GoT-esque with the royal family, while Marvel wanted it to focus more on the new Inhumans that had been created after Hickman's Infinity event. They couldn't come up with something both parties were happy with continuously, so Fraction ended up stepping down from the project.

Yeah, I can't abide by shit talking Allred. His style is super fun and readable, but with a level of craft and...class, maybe? You just don't see in books try so hard to find a similar tone. Like, Allred will give you the fun of a ms marvel or Gotham academy, but with out those cringey, post-Whedon "UM, WE'RE FIGHTING A SUPER VILLAIN NOW, SO I GUESS THAT'S A THING?" Moments. Plus his art will actually hold up five years from now, instead of looking like the digital smear most "fun" comics look like now.
