I don't like how grainy it is without DNR, but it's still better than the ugly lines and smudging/disappearing of small details you get with DNR.

I like no DNR.
The DNR version just made it blurrier, and seems to have made the colors much less vibrant.
DNR looks like complete shit honestly, why do this?
Why do I feel like the only person who enjoys grain? Is it really that bad? I enjoy a little grain in everything. Not an unholy amount. Just enough. When an old movie has grain, I feel that it is a nice rip an looks high quality.
