I think he's one of the more interesting characters. To everyone he's just a cute mascot and he's got a sweet relationship with Shadow and Kat. But we can see he's actually the closest thing the comic has to an outright villain and his closeness with the main cast and the fact that he may just be right makes it all really creepy.
I'm waiting for the heart killing moment Shadow gets fed up with/too scared of Robot's fuckery and leaves him, stripping him of his last anchor to sanity and goes full world ending cult leader mode.
