Have there ever been a comic series where Stark and Bats take up each other's Superhero role (so Bruce is now Iron Man, and Stark is now Batman), and we see what happens when they apply their own genius and style to protecting Gothan/New York?

Batman has canonically rid Gotham of most crime but supercrime before, has Ironman ever made any strides that large?
Bruce would step all over international politics as Iron Man, pissing off government agencies around the world and making everyone even more paranoid about the amount of unilateral power the Avengers have. He'd also only go out in the black armors.
Tony would get his ass kicked as regular Batman, then build a suit of Bat armor (possibly out of the Batmobile) and extract petty revenge on crazy people before getting bored and trying to re-forming the Outsiders with more powerhouses and fewer crazy people

Let's face it, at the end of the day Tony and Bruce would probably become bros and use their money and tech to rid the world of crime all together. Frank on the other hand is very similar to Bruce but his methods are more extreme. Batman would have to stop Punisher from killing, but Punisher wouldn't go down without a fight. Sure batman has plot armor and prep time, but Punisher has also been shown to have great foresight. I mean the guys taken down the whole Avengers team before (which I believe Batman could also do if given enough plot prep time). I think it would make for a much more interesting dynamic that just "durr two rich guys, who has more money to throw at the other?"

He has stunners. He would stun the shit out of anything he couldn't easily physically subdue, and a lot, he would just unceremoniously pick up and deposit with GCPD. A lot of criminals super or not couldn't stop him picking them up and restraining him. They'd break their hands trying to punch him. And some would.

Yeah, given the fact that Iron Man could know the whereabouts of every Batman enemy, because you know, Batman has to use those detective skills that IM doesn't have.
Also, do you think IM could resist all those psychological games that many Batman enemies use? He would get mad trying to catch the Joker.
A better switch would be between Batman and Daredevil. Can DD do better than Batman at trying to protect Gotham?
Would Gotham City accept Iron Man more than they would Batman, since Tony is more open and transparent about his identity and motives?
